Building stability is the most difficult thing I have ever tried to do.
Moving out of my parents' house disrupted my daily routine. New circle of friends, and environment, and I discovered myself on a deeper level than the High School version of me would not have imagined that I'd be this independent. Everything feels so different... Especially the part where I'm living alone without guidance and with a lot of freedom(Which is scary)
"Sasama ba si Oli?" Tanong ng best friend ko.
Connie flicked her finger on my face because I didn't respond.
Elene is laughing on her phone.
Umiling ako bilang sagot kay Connie.
"Bakit?" They asked in unison.
"He's facilitating the basketball tryouts" I boredly answered.
"Nood nalang kaya tayo ng practice game?" Snow suggested.
Tinusok ni Connie ang tagiliran ni Snow. Dani starts typing something on her phone while grinning like an evil witch. Nakiusisa naman si Elene kay Dani.
Dani and Elene have phone addiction, they grin and laugh every time they're on their phones, and when you take it off their hands? They are so quick to anger.
May mga manliligaw na kasi kaya ganyan.
Nabalik naman kay Snow ang atensyon ko.
Why did my friends starting teasing Snow? Because Snow has a crush on the Captain of the basketball team.
90% of the female population of our department have a crush on him... Kale Rivera grandson of the governor. He has the money and the looks. He's too friendly that's why I don't like him for Snow.
I looked at our PE instructor laying on his back with his eyes closed. Napilayan siya kanina kaya tumigil kami sa paglalaro ng volleyball. Hindi naman kami pwedeng umalis dahil hinihintay pa matapos ang period.
"Ano? Manood nalang ng game tapos bili ng snacks o tutuloy na tayo kina Dani?" Elene asked the group.
"Pag pumunta tayo kina Dani, mag-co-commute pa tayo pabalik rito" Sabi ko.
Ayoko na magpabalik-balik sa school dahil mainit masyado rito. Walang mga puno at mainit ang simoy ng hangin. Napakalayo pa ng building namin mula sa exit.
Everyone agreed except Alexei. "Five hours yung vacant, anong oras start ng tryouts? Four PM pa"
Our next class is from 5 pm to 7 pm...
"Papakuhanan ko nalang ng video kay Reese si Kale. Pwede mong panoorin kahit ilang beses pa basta sa bahay lang tayo nina Dani magpalipas ng oras" Biro ni Connie bago pumunta sa bleachers kasama si Elene.
Nahihiya namang itinulak ni Snow si Connie tsaka sumunod na papunta sa Bleachers.
It's a good thing that I've found my girls. If I were still alone, I don't know how I'd survive a five-hour vacant or college in general.
Ako lang ang hindi nila kaibigan nung unang beses na naging magkakaklase kami. One groupwork later, I'm suddenly in their circle.
Oliver is also here for me. He's a prospect according to my best friend Connie but i don't consider him as one. I don't intend to be in a relationship right now. Lalo na ngayon na nag-e-enjoy ako na makasama palagi ang mga kaibigan ko.
