He patiently waited while his lips planted feathers kisses on my knuckles.

"Nine years, Severiano. I've been single for Nine years because my feelings for you have always been in my heart it never left but most of the time, it was locked inside because It never felt right to go back together with you because the timing isn't right."

I took my hands from him and held his face. "But I know that the there's no such thing as right timing. When I saw you for the first time after almost a decade, It's still you. So it's yes, Dylan Severiano. I can make your dreams come true."

I hugged him tight. He hugged me as well. He even lift me up! I miss this...

It was a wholesome confession of love.

We heard a knock followed by Mike's voice. "Tama na 'yan, ibabalik ko na si AJ sa school"

Severiano groaned but he then kissed me on the forehead. "We'll take it slow, okay? For now, I'll settle being your boyfriend thru your phone or do I just wait for you to message me because your son might read my messages"

"You can message me, he's not a nosy child" Sabi ko bago lumabas.

"Papa, are we going to Tita Dani's house?" Naguguluhan niyang tanong dahil hindi ito ang ruta na dinadaanan namin pauwi sa condo.

"We're going to the mall"

"Huh? Why?"

"To eat" Sagot ko na lalong ikinasingkit ng mata niya.

"Kumain na ako, Papa. Remember? It was my classmates chicken and spaghetti birthday party earlier... I don't like chicken paired with spaghetti"

I sighed. "Teacher Ivy said that I don't need to pack a snack or lunch, if i could've known that's the food they'll serve, I would've packed"

We both sighed at the same time.

We're now walking inside the mall while holding hands.

Namangha siya nung makarating na kami sa power mac.

"I'm just going to buy a charger" Pagsisinungaling ko sa kanya.

I witnessed how his smile disappeared when he heard me.

At first he was looking around but then I gave him my phone and made him seat at the chair near the counter. He's playing using my phone but I can still see how he's trying his best not to look sad.

But then I saw how his eyes lit up when he saw me carrying a big gray paper bag.

"Let's buy lunch and your snack before siyesta"

He held my hand and handed me over my phone.

He's trying to take a peek on what's inside the paper bag but I held it higher so he wouldn't see.

Nakanguso naman siyang naghintay sa akin na makaorder ng pagkain.

Pagdating sa unit, nagtatakbo kaagad siya papunta sa kwarto niya. Mamaya ko nalang ibibigay pagkatapos ng siyesta niya dahil alam kong hindi na siya makaktulog sa sobrang excitement.

I laid down on the couch.

He smiled at me. I smiled back at him because he can change his clothes on his own. His comfy gray sando and black shorts. Made him look like a small version of me.

Marahan niyang tinusok ang pisngi ko. "Papa, it's Thursday today. Two nights left before you buy me an Ipad"

I pulled his waist so he can't get away. "I know. You should take your afternoon nap now"
