SHANINE'S POV

We already off the plane when auntie Charlotte stopped me from walking.I look at her with full of confusion but i put a little smile on my face while waiting for what she want to say.

"Don't forget to wear contact lens wherever you go ha?It can help to make you safe"

The smile on my face fade when she hand over the box of contact lens.I look at it with full of question but i keep it on my self.

"All of people here have their family.Where's our?Why did they not come?"

I asked her while putting our luggage on the compartment of this cab.

"Well they we're all busy beside we can commute naman right?"

I feel sad at the moment because no one in my family come here to see me.All kids i saw in new york supported by their parents while me supporting my self alone.I stayed quiet while were on way home.Si auntie naman ay may kausap sa kanyang cellphone na hindi ko ganon ka kilala.After an hours na byahe ay nakarating na kami sa bahay namin.

My pleasure to see this house again. Few years passed since the last time my foot step here and during that time no good memories formed in my mind.Pumasok kami sa loob ng bahay na sobrang laki ng ipinag bago from garden even inside.

"WELCOMEEE BACK CHARLOTTE"

I heard the loud shout from my family welcoming my aunt but how about me?They all come near to aunt and hugged her tight while i left behind and waiting for someone approaching me but no one does.

"Baby come here"

Tawag sakin ni auntie saka ako iniharap sa family ko na nawala ang ngiti sa kanilang mga labi.

"It was nice to see you all"

Pilit ang ngiting sabi ko sa kanila saka sila isa isang niyakap but no one hug me back except from my dad.

"How are you my princess?You look prettier than before."

Masayang bati nya sakin saka ako hinalikan sa noo.Natuwa ako kasi kahit papaano ay nariyan si daddy para pasayahin ang puso kong nalulungkot.

"I know you we're tired so let's eat first before you take a sleep"

Dinig kong sabi ni lolo bago akayin si auntie Charlotte papunta sa dining.Lahat sila ay pumunta na roon maliban samin ni daddy na tahimik silang pinag masdan.

"Are they happy without me i guess"

Malungkot na wika ko pero agad lumapit sakin si daddy para yakapin.

"Don't say that baby huh?They were love you.Si lolo mo ay sadyang ganon lang kasi strict sya while your mom is battling of some problem in the past few days kaya ganon."

Pag comfort sakin ni dadday kaya naman ngumiti ako para ipakitang naiintindihan ko kahit na ang totoo ay hindi.Sumunod na kami don para kumain and everyone laugh while talking to auntie habang ako ay tahimik na kumakain.

Is this what you called 'family'?

"Shan here's your new room.The old one was renovated and turns into a library but we can actually make this room ideal in some other time okey?"

Bumuntong hininga ako saka tumingin sa kwartong plain lang at wala halos lamang gamit maliban nalang sa bed at walk in closet na narito.

"Do i really part of this family?"
