Lyn grabbed three cups of coffee from the machine and made her way back over to Bonnie and Matt. She handed them each a cup of coffee. Bonnie looked like she was on the edge of a breakdown. This probably meant that she had heard the cause behind the accident and most likely blamed herself. Matt took the cup into his hands and clutched it like his life depended on it. No one was handling this well. "I finally got Tyler to go home," Lyn told them.

"That's good," Matt muttered. Lyn sat down next to her two friends and tried her best to keep from falling apart. The odds were not in Caroline's favor. As much as Lyn didn't want it to be true, there was a good chance she might lose her best friend. Her phone buzzed after a few moments, alerting her of Elena's arrival. Bonnie glanced over at her phone, and the two girls rose to meet Elena.

"How is Caroline?" Elena asked immediately upon sighting them. Bonnie looked to Lyn to speak, but Lyn was barely able to say anything herself. Her throat was growing tight, and her eyes were watering.

"She's weak," Bonnie admitted. "They don't know if she's gonna make it."

"What?" Elena breathed out, and Lyn let out the smallest squeak of sadness. The three girls wrapped their arms around each other, and Lyn had to keep from sobbing into their shoulders. "Is there something that you can do? Like, like a spell or something?"

"She doesn't know how," Damon spoke for her, making his presence known. "Do you?"

"No, I don't." Elena rubbed a hand over her face in worry and frustration.

"No, you don't. Cause it took Emily years to learn a spell like that."

"Yeah, well, I can take down a vampire," Bonnie pointed out. That spell was easy to learn." She stared him down for a moment, making Lyn wonder if he was going to keel over suddenly. But instead, he turned to Elena and began speaking in a much kinder voice.

"I can give Caroline some blood." He offered.

"No. No way." Elena denied.

"No, just enough to heal her. She'll be safe in the hospital, and it'll be out of her system in a day. She'll be better, Elena."

"It's too risky. I can't agree to that." Elena protested.

"Do it," Bonnie spoke up. "This is Caroline. Okay, we can't let her die!" Lyn nodded along. She didn't know what would happen if she lost Caroline, and she never wanted to find out. "Do it."

"If I do this, you and me call a truce?" Damon wondered.

"No." Bonnie denied, making Damon's smirk drop. "But you'll do it anyway... for Elena." Elena nodded at Bonnie, and Lyn gave her friend a quick hug before she walked off. Damon's expression turned strange and it was like Lyn disappeared as he looked into Elena's eyes.

"Alright, I know this is probably the last thing you want to do right now, but we should talk about what happened tonight."

"Yeah, one of the tomb vampires got into the house and tried to kill John!" Elena informed him.
