While they had been away on Elena's failed attempt to hand herself over, the rest of them had gone ahead with their equally stupid plan. They had attempted to get the moonstone but due to an inconvenient intervention from Jeremy, it had ended up with Stefan getting stuck in the tomb. That meant that while they were working to undo the spell on the moonstone, they also had to find a way to get Stefan out of the tomb. Both tasks were proving easier said than done seeing as Bonnie couldn't get the tomb open and Lyn seriously doubted that the moonstone would be easier to de-spell.

Lyn scribbled furiously into her journal. She didn't know why, but this morning she had woken up flooded with inspiration and quickly rushed to her desk. Before her parents passed, writing poetry was one of Lyn's favorite hobbies. She hadn't picked up her poetry notebook in months, but this morning she couldn't seem to tear herself away from it. That was until she heard banging and peaked her head up curiously. Lyn put her notebook down on the desk and rose from her seat, quickly making her way downstairs.

When she got there, she saw Bonnie and Jeremy watching as Elena pounded on an invisible barrier. "Oh, no way!" She laughed, turning their attention to her. "You trapped her in the house." Elena glared at her for the amused tone her voice carried. Lyn then scanned her eyes across Bonnie and Jeremy's somewhat guilty faces and groaned. "You trapped us both in the house!" She complained. "I will have you know that I am not a part of this suicide mission and therefore should not be treated as such."

"It's just a precaution." Jeremy told her. Lyn sent him daggers shooting from her eyes and made her way down the stairs.

"If I'm trapped in here then you're getting me lunch from The Grill." She ordered. Jeremy smiled a bit in relief.

"Deal."

After a fair bit of complaining from Elena, she eventually stopped attempting to escape and sat down on the couch. Lyn and Jeremy joined her in the living room, both taking amusement in the situation. (Jeremy more so than Lyn, seeing as Lyn was trapped too.)

Damon came over not too long after that, opening the door and making his way over to the Gilbert siblings. "You should really lock your door." He told Elena, who didn't find it the least bit funny. She glowered at him with an upset expression. "Oh, come on, pouty. At least give me two points for ingenuity."

"Do you think this is funny?" Elena demanded. Lyn tilted her head in consideration; it was a little funny.

"Yes, Elena, I find hilarity in the lengths I have to go to repeatedly save your life." Elena scoffed.

"What did Stefan say about this?" She asked.

"We had a good laugh." Damon commented, causing Elena to scoff once again.

"And what did he say about Elijah still being alive?" Lyn asked, getting straight to the point. Damon sat down and stretched his arm over the back of the couch.
