"Easy," Matt instructed as he helped Jenna through the entryway. She had been cleared and sent home from the hospital early this morning, but precautions still needed to be taken. "Grab the door, Jer."

"Okay, stop fussing" Jenna instructed from where she was being supported by Matt. "I'm fine."

"The doctors said that you have to take it easy," Elena reminded her, taking Jeremy's former position at Jenna's other side.

"Yeah, you don't want to rip your stitches, hemorrhage and die, alright?" Jeremy mentioned.

"Yeah, the only thing I'm going to die from is embarrassment." Jenna argued.

"Strangely enough I don't think medical insurance will cover that." Lyn told her aunt as she helped carry everything in from the car.

"I walked into a knife," Jenna said, giving Lyn an exasperated look. "How does somebody do that?"

"It was a freak accident," Elena said uncomfortably.

"It happens." Jeremy said in the same panicked tone that Elena carried. It was like they were all waiting for the sure-to-be catastrophic moment when Jenna finally started questioning all the strange things around her. Lyn really did want to tell her aunt the truth, but how do you even start a conversation like that? It was so much easier with Jermey because he had already figured it out.

"Yeah, I mean, I've done it like 20 times at the Grill," said Matt. Jenna laughed in disbelief and ended up wincing. "Okay, I'm being nice," He admitted. He held out a bag of food from the grill, which Elena took gratefully. They left Matt to fuss over Jenna while the Gilbert siblings moved into the kitchen.

"So, what are we going to do?" Jermey asked as soon as they were out of earshot of Matt and Jenna.

"Make lunch," Lyn said shortly, pulling out the sandwich meat Matt had brought and beginning to get to work on their food.

"No, about Katherine?"

"We're not going to do anything, Jeremy," Elena said tensely. Lyn could tell that Elena was compartmentalizing in order to fight the wave of emotions coming at her. She could tell because she was doing the exact same thing.

"She tried to kill Jenna. We can't let her get away with that." Jeremy said.

"Yes, we can." Elena continued. "If it keeps us safe, we can."

"And what if she tries something else?" He countered.

"She won't." Elena denied, trying to convince herself more than she was Jeremy. "Katherine hurt Jenna because I didn't do what she said. I'm doing it now, me and Stefan are over. She wins, the end."

"You're being naive and you know it." Jeremy told them. He grabbed his jacket and began to make his way out of the house.

"Where are you going?" Lyn questioned, looking up from the food.
