"Trina, yung appointment mo with Iya bukas na yun diba? Pakicheck nalang yung sketch na binigay nya. May details kasi dun na ayaw nya."

"Sige Althea. Sure kang ayaw mo makipagswap ng project? Mas hasa ka dito sa mga weddings eh."

"Hindi na Trin. Lighter na muna ang saken. Magli-leave kasi ako sa last week nitong month kasi uuwi kami ni Ane Sam samen."

Nauna nang sumakay si Trina sa kotse nya dito sa parking lot. Ako naman, uuwi na muna ako para magbihis. Nauna na nga si Barbie makauwi. Excited eh.

"B, Dylan will pick us up by 7pm. Wag na raw tayo magdala ng sasakyan kasi baka mahirapan tayo sa parking."

"Di pa tayo nagdidinner."

"Gutom ka na ba? Mamaya nalang after ng event."

"O sige." Di parin naman ako gutom. "Hala B, diba maraming artists dun?"

"Oo. Magpeperform daw lahat ng nasa Top Countdown List nila eh. Yung idol mo sure ako nandun yun. Tingnan mo nga dito sa playph app ko kung pang-ilan sya sa countdown." Inabot saken ni Barbie yung phone nya.

Nagkukulitan kami ng dumating si Dylan.

Dylan's face is so maaliwalas now. He looks very happy.

"Girls, mas mabuti nang early kesa late diba?" He kissed our cheeks. "Ja, excited ka? I assure you mag-eenjoy ka."

"Hehehe alam ko na! Nandun kasi ang favorite artist ko. Salamat Dylan."

Dylan clears his throat then said something which made us speechless.

"I'm gonna ask Iya later. We'll make us official."

Nandito na kami sa venue. It's jam-packed! Good thing we're seated sa VIP area.

"Gosh bestie! Nakaka-GV dito noh? I'm loving this night talaga."

"Oo nga eh. Parang nabuhay lahat ng CD's sa room ko hehe."

Dylan's out of sight. He said he's going at the backstage to give Iya her bouquet of flowers. Sweet man, right?

"Uhm, excuse me? Althea?" A man approached me and shook my hand.

"Andrew. You're here."

"Yeah. Some kindda unplanned. The producer of the event wants me here, their throwing Iya a surprise. It's her birthday."

"Oh. I didn't know that. Please extend my greetings later. By the way, this is Barbie. Barbie, Andrew Abellano. Our client."

They shake hands. Ang poker face ni Barbie.

"Barbie is in our company too. Actually, she'll be working with Trina para sa wedding nyo." I continued.

"Wow. It's nice to meet you, Miss Barbie."

"So, Mr. Abellano... Meron bang announcement with a bang later?"

Andrew smiled. "Wala. Wala talaga kasi kaming plan na i-open sa public yung about dun."

A guy approached Andrew and tapped his back. "Hey cous' the group is looking for you. Let's see Iya before the concert starts."

Nakipagkamay samen si Dane. In fairness, kahit sikat sya hindi sya maangas. May breeding. Ang perfect naman ng family nila. So si Dane pala yung kasama ni Iya one evening sa resto ni ane.

"It's so nice to meet you, girls. Panu, maiwan na muna namin kayo? Kelangan to ni Iya ngayon eh. Pantanggal kaba. See yah around."

Pagkaalis nila, tiningnan ko si Barbie. Sabi ko na nga ba eh. Alam ko ang mga type nito eh.

"Hoy! Para kang ewan dyan. Earth to B!"

"Magpinsan sila ng client naten? Althea, binabawi ko na ang pagpupumilit sa yo na magswap tayo ng project. I'm not letting this go. Ang yummy nung Dane pala talaga in person."

"Hay naku, Barbie. Umayos ka dyan."

"Oh Ja. Sino yung kausap nyo kanina? Bakit kasama si Dane?"

Nakabalik na si Dylan. Umupo na kami. Hindi na sumagot si Barbie.

I sighed.

"Client namin."

"Ah... I see. Anyway, malapit na magstart."

I nodded. I am seated in between. Naramdaman kong pinitik ng light ni Barbie yung arm ko kaya napatingin ako sa kanya.

I know what she's thinking. I'm worried too.
