Westlife's Beautiful In White is my personal choice. When Cha and Barbie talked about the line up of songs from the wedding to the reception, I insisted to have this.

Now I'm waiting for my lovely bride here in front of the altar. It's so gay but I missed her kahit isang araw lang kaming di nagkita.

The last time I saw her, muntikan pang may mangyari sa amin. No one can blame me. My Janine Althea is a goddess. Pero mas nangibabaw yung kagustuhan kong ipresenta sya sa Panginoon na may kasamang malinis na intensyon. I love her so much. I almost killed myself as I tried so hard controlling myself.

Pero nalagpasan ko yun. Ngayon, we'll tie knots.

Ganito pala ang feeling ng ikakasal?
Mixed emotions na para kang sasabog any minute. My brother tapped my back. "Kuya, she's here."

The door opened and there I saw Ja, the woman I deeply love.

The next thing I know, I'm in tears.

As she slowly walked down the aisle, I couldn't help but draw deep breaths. She's so beautiful. I said a silent prayer in my head, "Lord, thank you for giving her to me."

Our happily ever after unfolds today and I gasped at the sight of the woman I love. I reached out my hand to her and my chest bloated as she put her hands on mine.

This is it.

"You're dashing, Love." She responded.

The wedding ceremony did run smooth and the priest delivered a heartwarming homily. I believe he did his research because he mentioned significant moments in our lives like how we started off as friends and how I almost lose Ja.

Tripping down the lane humbled me and I noticed Ja wiped off little tears upon listening to Father.

Father hit me with his words about fate and working with it.

Almost all of us believe in destiny... in fate. If you ask me, I believe in it also but I also think that we should not rely on fate so much. When we love someone, we think that fate will do everything to make love work. We forgot that even the best known love stories were worked out with the main characters of those stories too. Work with fate. I know Dylan and Althea can attest to this. Because not just once did they doubt about fate and when they started to believe that they're fated with each other, they worked on this love and found each other in the intersection of the road to their happiness, not as ordinary friends but as two people willing to spend each other's lives together. They were a work in progress and now they're making us witness the realization of it all.

The whole while was euphoric and my heart was in ecstasy when we exchanged our personal vows to each other.

My anime eyes stared at me full of love.
"Dylan, Love, I remember the time you asked me about my dream wedding. That time you still didn't have any idea how much I wanted you to be in it. I shared how I wanted my dream wedding to be and you told me it'll definitely happen. It happened. It's happening. Thank you Love for showering me all the love in the world and for fighting for us. I have loved you first and I've been hell crazy about you. Barbie knows about it and how many hopia have been consumed." The crowd laughed on that part. "I love you Dylan. I promise you that on this day onwards, I'll be a faithful wife to you. I'll stay as the bestfriend that I've always been. I will always be a fan of your cooking and your partner in fishing. I promise to comfort you when your favorite NBA team looses and drink with you when they win, and pamper you with kisses whenever you go home from work even if you're really not tired. I will love you for keeps no matter how awful your playlist in your car sounds. I will love you for always Dylan because you complete me."

I trembled. She has this effect on me. How lucky I am to earn her love.

Now, it's my turn. I didn't scribble down words to memorize. My vow is impromptu. I believe that I just need to let my words to flow. Even the best poet I know, Benjamin, agreed with me. My love for her will never go wrong.
"Love, you have been my bestfriend, confidant, palymate, mentor, and my greatest challenge. But most importantly, you are the love of my life and I thank you for inspiring me to do better. You were there when no one else believed in me. I could never imagine how one Janine Althea made me happier even though I was a pain in the ass before. You never stopped showing me like I matter big time in this world. Thank you for keeping up with my stubborn ways, Love. Rest assured that I'll keep up with your stubbornness as well and I won't mind at all because you being so stubborn is cute. You are my everything, Ja. I can put my life on the line for you anytime. You know me better than anyone in this mad world and you still love manage to love me. How can you do that? I promise to never forget special occasions, to kiss your worries away, to learn photography since you developed this great love of posing before the lenses, to never leave our fridge out of Pepero, to cook you your favorite beef salpicao and to make you feel my love everyday, everywhere, even in Neverland. I will stay in love with you forever because your love is home to me."

In the near seats, our parents and friends were all smiles and some of them were shedding tears.

They bursted in laughters when I kissed my wife right away and Father commented, "You see friends, Dylan can't save it til the later part of the ceremony. Alright, Dylan, Althea, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Heavens! For 20 years of practice, this is the first time I'll do a shortcut. Dylan, you may kiss your wife."

My wife pinched my side. "Ang kulit mo kasi Love."

"Malakas tayo kay Father. Kiss na daw ulit Love." I said to her.

She smiled and I kissed her the second time around and then we heard a never-ending clapping.

For once, she thought of herself as my meantime girl and I hated myself for making her feel that way. She will never be a meantime girl because she's a keeper and I am truly blessed to have been a part of her life, which as of today, becomes our life together.
