Nandito nako sa audi nya and we're on our way to somewhere.

"Akala ko di ka na magtatanong."

"Why? It's just lunch and my Mom wants to see you."

"Nakakahiya Calyx."

"The last time I checked, di ka mahiyain Althea."

"Gago." Sinuntok ko yung braso nya. Tumawa naman sya.

"Tsaka wala kasi akong budget ngayon pang-date. Nagtitipid ako kaya sa bahay nalang. Practical lang."

Loko loko talaga to si Calyx. Natawa nalang ako.

Namangha naman ako sa gara ng bahay ni Calyx. Ay hindi to ordinaryong bahay. Mansion to. MANSION. I looked at Calyx.

"What?" He asked. Amused.

"Makasabi ka naman ng rich kid saken eh ikaw naman itong rich kid."

"Althea, this is my parent's house. Not mine. Sila ang rich, hindi ako."

"Asus. Pa-humble si doc."

He let out a heartfelt laughter. "Let's go. I know you're starving. Naririnig ko na ang tummy mo." He held my hand and we walked inside.

If namangha ako sa labas, mas humanga ako sa interior ng mansion nila Calyx. Nagmukha ata akong basahan dito? Joke. Pero I swear, ang ganda ganda rito.

"Master Calyx, nandun na po sa dining ang mommy nyo, si Cleo at Coby."

Master? Hiyang hiya na talaga ako dito sa katabi ko.

"Ah sige po Yaya. Ya, si Althea po. Kaibigan ko. Althea, si Yaya Myrna."

"Magandang araw sayo, hija. Napakaganda mong bata. Akala ko nobya ka nitong alaga ko. Ngayon lang kasi ulit sya nagdala ng-"

"Ya. Shh.. Punta na kami kay mommy."

"Salamat po, Yaya Myrna. Maganda rin po kayo."

Nagsmile si Calyx. "That's very Althea. A compliment for a compliment. Let's go? Gutom nako eh."

Naku, sa laki ng mansion nila, mahabang lakaran muna bago marating ang dining nila.

"Kuya!" tawag sa kanya ng isang magandang babae who hmmm who looks very familiar to me.

"Cleo, your voice." Saway ng isang magandang babae. Mommy na to ni Calyx for sure. Nakakaintimidate yung kagandahan ng mom nila huhu...

Lumapit kami sa long table. Tumayo ang mom nya and Calyx went for a hug and a kiss. "Hi, mom! Here's Althea. As promised."

"Oh my honey, you're very beautiful. Come." She welcomed me with an embrace. "Welcome to our humble home."

Humble home? Sa isip ko.

"Uhm, Althea. This is my brother Coby. You met him already diba? And that pretty girl over there is Cleo, my sister."

"Hi, Ate Althea." Coby greeted me.

"Sa parking space ng mall ni Kuya."

Ang saya saya ng family ni Calyx. Nakakaoverwhelm din yung pagtanggap nila saken. Wow, parang girlfriend lang eh noh? LOL.

I stayed until dinner time is over. Ang daldal ng dalawang babaeng Monteclaro hahaha! Nakakatuwa sila. Ilang oras tuloy ako nagstay sa bahay nila.

It's past nine in the evening and nakauwi na ako sa condo. Bukas ang ilaw sa dining kaya dumeritso nako dun.

"B?!" Haist. Nasa Canada si Barbie.

May pagkain sa counter. Don't tell me nanggaling dito si Dylan?

I checked on the guest room. Sinalubong ako ng lamig ng aircon.

Nandito nga si Dylan. Mahimbing na natutulog. Di man lang naghubad ng sapatos nya. Hay naku. Lumapit ako sa kanya at tinanggal yung shoes nya and kinumotan sya.

Pinatay ko ang ilaw at binuksan ang lamp shade instead. I once throw a glance at him and mouthed good night. Pagkalabas ko ng guest room, bumalik ako sa kitchen. Beef Salpicao. Nagutom ako bigla. Well, kumain na naman ako pero paborito ko talaga tong luto ni Dylan. Mamaya, babalikan kita mahal kong salpicao. Magwawash up lang ako.

Nandito ako sa harap ng TV with my pajamas on and nilalantakan ang beef salpicao. Too early for midnight snack er?

I'm watching a late night show and kung mamalasin nga naman ako, si Ben pa ang guest harharhar!

Host: So, are we going to hear wedding bells soon Ben?

Hahaha na-hotseat. Buti nga.

Ben: You'll hear it. Soon but not sooner. You see she will be on another world tour next year and I can't get in the way.

Ben: It's a scary thing. Falling in love with your bestfriend is scary because it can make or break your friendship. But it's worth a try. or at least worth a confession. Friendship is a very good foundation. Well, if you feel like you're the only one who falls, don't keep it to yourself. Tell it. Confess it. Every love must be expressed both in actions and words. I checked on Dylan one last time.

Ang sarap ng tulog nya.
