Eliza remained withdrawn, the weight of Grimmauld Place casting a shadow over her usual lively spirit. Determined to lift her up, the Marauders huddled together in the Gryffindor common room, plotting their next big prank.

"We need something epic," James declared, lounging back on the couch with a mischievous glint in his eye. "Something that'll have everyone talking."

Remus, ever the strategist, nodded thoughtfully as he thumbed through a worn parchment covered in maps and notes. "What about a classroom switcheroo? We could swap the contents of several classrooms overnight."

Peter's eyes widened with excitement, his enthusiasm infectious. "Imagine the chaos! No one will know where anything is."

Sirius glanced over at Eliza, his concern evident in the furrow of his brow. "Maybe this'll take her mind off things," he murmured, more to himself than anyone else.

Eliza appreciated their efforts, though her heart still bore the bruises of recent turmoil. Despite her reservations, she nodded reluctantly. "Alright, let's do it."

The planning began in earnest, each detail meticulously debated and decided upon. Late nights were spent sneaking around Hogwarts, mapping out the best classrooms to target and devising strategies to avoid detection. They whispered spells under their breath, practicing until their movements were fluid and silent.

On the chosen night, adrenaline pumped through their veins as they moved through the castle like shadows. James and Sirius led the charge, their confidence bolstered by the thrill of the challenge. Spells were cast with precision, swapping desks, books, and even the occasional potion ingredients between unsuspecting classrooms.

Hours blurred into one another, laughter bubbling up despite the tension. Just before dawn broke, they completed their mission, sneaking back to the Gryffindor common room with a sense of triumph.

The next morning, Hogwarts awoke to chaos. Students stumbled through the halls in confusion, searching for their usual classrooms only to find them transformed beyond recognition. Teachers exchanged bewildered glances, their attempts to restore order met with frustration.

Professor McGonagall's usually pristine Transfiguration classroom was overrun with Herbology plants and Charms textbooks. "Potter! Black! Lupin! Pettigrew! Black!" Her voice echoed through the corridors, summoning the pranksters to her office once more.

They stood before her, guilty grins tugging at their lips despite their efforts to appear contrite. "Detention," she pronounced sternly, though there was a glimmer of admiration in her eyes. "Your creativity is commendable, but next time, direct it toward something more constructive."

Accepting their punishment with good humor, they returned to the common room where exhaustion mingled with satisfaction. Remus raised his butterbeer in a toast, a smile playing on his lips. "To the Marauders, mischief-makers extraordinaire!"

"To the Marauders!" they chorused, clinking their glasses together in celebration of their unity and daring.

Despite the consequences, each prank solidified their bond and reminded Eliza that amidst the darkness of her past, there was light in the camaraderie of true friends. As they laughed and reminisced into the night, she felt a glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe, they could navigate the challenges of Hogwarts together, one prank at a time.
