At Hogwarts, they navigated their schedules with enthusiasm tempered by the knowledge that each class brought new challenges and opportunities for mischief.

Eliza carefully studied her timetable, her fingers tracing the neat rows of subjects and their corresponding classrooms. "Looks like we're all together for Transfiguration again," she remarked, glancing up at Sirius and Remus who were leaning in to inspect their own schedules.

Sirius grinned. "Perfect. McGonagall won't know what hit her."

Remus chuckled softly. "Let's focus on passing the tests first before we give her any surprises."

Their first class of the week was Transfiguration with Professor McGonagall, held in a lofty tower room overlooking the grounds. Eliza found comfort in the familiar surroundings as they climbed the stone steps to their seats. The professor's sharp gaze scanned the room as students settled in, her no-nonsense demeanor setting the tone for the lesson.

Throughout the week, they delved into the complexities of magical theory with Charms under the enthusiastic guidance of Professor Flitwick. His animated demonstrations and encouraging praise lifted Eliza's spirits, reminding her of the joy in mastering spells and enchantments.

Potions class with Professor Slughorn proved to be both challenging and entertaining. His booming voice echoed off the stone walls as he extolled the virtues of rare potion ingredients, encouraging students to experiment boldly while adhering to precise instructions. Eliza diligently measured and stirred, determined to earn top marks despite the occasional mishap that sent puffs of smoke or unexpected bubbles into the air.

Between classes, they often found themselves in the library, pouring over textbooks and reference volumes. Remus and Eliza would discuss their latest readings, comparing notes on magical creatures or debating the finer points of spellcasting techniques. Sirius, ever the practical joker, occasionally disrupted their scholarly pursuits with whispered plans for their next prank.

One afternoon, during a particularly tedious History of Magic lesson with Professor Binns, Sirius passed a note to Eliza under the cover of his textbook. "Halloween's coming up. Any ideas for a prank?"

Eliza stifled a laugh and scribbled a reply. "How about enchanting pumpkins to sing spooky songs during the feast?"

Sirius grinned and nodded enthusiastically, passing the note back. "Brilliant. We'll need James on board for this one."

Their days were a mix of focused study and playful camaraderie, the bond between the Marauders growing stronger with each shared triumph and mischievous escapade. As the week drew to a close, they eagerly awaited the upcoming Halloween feast, their minds buzzing with plans for the enchanted pumpkins and the secret midnight celebration they had planned in the Gryffindor common room.

The return to Hogwarts had brought a sense of purpose and excitement, a welcome respite from the shadows of the past. Eliza felt herself embracing the new term with renewed determination, grateful for the support of her friends and the sanctuary Hogwarts provided.
