Amelia's POV

We soon pull into the parking lot. Once Mikey parks the car, I bolt out of the car and run upstairs. I get into the apartment and throw my bag onto the couch. I grab a set of clothes and run up to Ray's apartment. I get there a moment before he does.

"How did you get here faster than me?" he asks unlocking the door.

"I ran," I reply walking in. I run to the bathroom. "I call it first!" I hear him laugh as I close and lock the door. I turn on the shower, stripping down before getting in. I let the warm water hit my body. I take a quick ten minute shower before turning it off. I dry my body and throw on my clothes. I then wrap my hair and walk out. Ray notices and hands me my phone and key.

"Michael dropped this stuff off," he tells me.

"Thanks," I say as I take them. "You still never told me what your idea is."

"Oh right," he says. "Well just ask Peyton if he could help out with everything. Then you guys can make extra food and eat it while Tina and I eat at Michael's."

"Not a bad idea," I reply.

"Oh, and before I forget, he wants you back at the apartment right now," he tells me.

"Alright," I say. "When is Tina going to be here though?"

"Umm close to nine," he answers looking at his phone. "So in about an hour and a half."

"I'll start getting things set up then," I say.

"Okay, I'll meet you down there after I get ready," he says as he walks into the bathroom. I run to Mikey's apartment, unlocking the door before running to Mikey's room.

"Hey," he says as I walk in. "I told Ray to tell you to come here because I'm going to help you set up."

"How much time do you have?" I ask.

"About 15 minutes," he says as we walk into the lounge. "So we're going to move the couch against that wall while we move the coffee table into the guest room. We can set up the table in middle of the area."

"Sounds good," I say. We bring the coffee table into the center of the room before moving the couch to the other side of the room. Soon enough, Ray walks into the apartment.

"Okay, is there anything I need to do?" he asks as I put the tablecloth over the table.

"Umm, yeah, what do you want to eat?" I question.

"Chicken marsala should be good," he replies.

"Any appetizers?"

He stops and thinks for a moment. "Umm, maybe just bread rolls or salsa and chips."

"How about we go buy the ingredients first and decide what you want as we get everything," I suggest.

"Alright," he agrees.

"Mikey," I say, "I need the keys to your car."

"Can't give them to you," he says. "Lindsay and I are going out remember."

"What about Lindsay's car?" I ask.

"It's a piece of shit," he replies. "It broke down so many times that we're going to buy another one."

"Okay," I say.

"We're actually leaving right now though," Lindsay says walking in. "See you later."

"Bye," I say giving them both a hug. They leave before I turn to Ray.

"What are we supposed to do now?" he asks.
