Step One: Make The Plan

Lena left the B&B early the next morning in search of a boat that would take her to the small island wher Kara is. Petua. The name of the island bounced around in her head as she drove to the pier. "Hello! Can you take me to Petua?" Lena asked an older man who was near a boat. "What do you want to go to there for miss?" The man asked. "A friend of mine lives there." Lean replied. The man thought for a moment before nodding. "Great! How much?" Lena asked. "Forty euro." The man said. "That works!" Lean said as she passed the man the money. "Name is Olaf..." The man said. "Pleasure to meet you! I'm Lena." She replied. Olaf grabbed her bags and put them on the boat before helping Lena onto the boat herself. "So your friend? He knows you're coming?" Olaf asked. "No she doesn't. I'm gonna surprise her." Lena said. Olaf nodded as he drove the boat through the choppy water.

Meanwhile Kara was in her kitchen dancing to her playlist as she made herself and Megan some breakfast. Megan was playing with her dolls in the living room. "Megan? Do you want strawberry waffles?" Kara asked. "Yesh mommy!" Megan squealed as she came stumbling into the kitchen holding her supergirl doll in her arms. "Come here my little angel! Let's get you up in your chair." Kara cooed as she put her daughter into her booster seat. "Mommy bekfas!" Megan squealed. "Yes my little angel it's breakfast time. Are you hungry?" Kara asked. "Yesh mommy!" Megan replied with a smile on her face.

After breakfast and getting washed and dressed Kara and Megan decided to take a trip into town to get some much needed groceries. "Come on my angel, let's head into town. I think it's time to get someone some more lollipops..." Kara cooed. "Yesh!" Megan squealed as she clapped her hands together. "Let's get your feet dressed first little angel." Kara said as she grabbed Megan's sandals.

A few minutes later Kara had Megan on her shoulders and a few reusable bags in her hand. Half way there they paused so Kara could take some photos Megan who wanted to pick some flowers for the post man. "Mommy ook! Ook! A boat!" Megan squealed as she pointed at a large fishing boat coming towards the pier. "That's a fishing boat angel, come on let's go get some lollipops and our mail." Kara said as they continued walking down the trail.

"This is Petua Miss Lena! We'll be at the pier in twenty minutes." Olaf said. "Thank you Olaf!" Lena replied as she took out her phone and began snapping photos of the small island. "I'm coming Kara....I'm coming..." Lena whispered to the wind. She sat back down on the wooden bench began preparing 'Lay all you love on me' so she could sing it to Kara when she found her.

"Ah Miss Kara, Miss Megan! What are these for?" Mr. Mason asked as Megan handed him the flowers. "She saw them and wanted to get them for you." Kara replied. "Well thank you sweetheart!" Mr Mason said. "Wecom." Megan replied. Kara grabbed her mail from the box quickly before heading to the grocery store. After getting some lollipops, and some other things they began their walk back to their house. "Mommy cartoons?" Megan asked. "Yes sweetheart, you can go watch cartoons." Kara replied as she began putting the groceries away.

Back at the pier Lena is just now getting off the boat and thanking Olaf again for the ride. "Good luck with your friend Miss Lena!" Olaf called as he began driving the boat away. Lena grabbed her luggage and began walking into the small town. "Well this must be Ikau. It really is small here." Lena said as she began looking for the post office. The walk to said post office was short thankfully because Lena had on the wrong shoes for a longer walk. "Hello? Is anyone in here?" Lena asked as she walked inside. "Hello miss! I am Tobias Mason post master. How can I help you?" The older man asked. "Uh yes...I'm here looking for a friend of mine. I was told by a grocer here that she lives in this town." Lena replied.

Back inside Kara's home she is in the midst of making some snacks for herself and Megan, however Megan is now in Kara's arms as they sway to Kara's playlist. "I wuv you mommy." Megan said as they danced to 'Slipping Through My Fingers'. "Mommy loves you too, my sweet little angel. This is gonna be you one day my angel. School bag in hand she leaves home in the early morning....I watch her go with a surge of that well known sadness....and I have to sit down for a while...that feeling that I'm loosing her forever...and without really entering her world..I'm glad whenever I can share her laughter...that funny little girl...slipping through my fingers all the time...I try to capture every minute...the feeling in it...slipping through my fingers every time...do I really see what's in her mind...each time I think I'm close to knowing...she keeps on growing..." Kara sang softly to Meagan as they danced in the kitchen.

"What is your friend's name miss?" Tobias asked. "Kara...Kara Danvers." Lena replied. "Ah yes! She was just in here a little bit ago." He replied. "Do you know where she lives?" Lena asked. "Yes. You go out here and walk all the way through town past the pier you'll come to a hill...walk the trail all the way to the top. She's in the small house on the top...you should change your shoes though...heels are no good for hiking." Tobias said. "Thank you." Lena replied as she sat on a stool and removed her heels and pulled out a pair of sneakers and slipped them on her feet. "All the way through town and up the hill...Ok! You got this!" Lena said to herself as she grabbed her luggage and began walking through town.
