"Well?"

Kara's heart pounded in her chest as she looked up at Lena with wide eyes. Lena hadn't responded yet though which was making Kara nervous. "Well?" Kara asked her voice cracking. "I...uh...um..." Lena stammered. That was answer enough for Kara she quickly stood up and put the ring back in her pocket before turning around and began walking away tears forming in her eyes. "Kara wait!" Lena shouted as she ran after her. "WHAT? I ask you to marry me and you just stammer! I had this whole trip planned out! I bought this damn thing weeks ago! I went with Alex to a custom jeweler and had everything customized for WHAT you to stammer out a half assed answer! RAO LENA! I thought we were on the same page! I thought that this would be the next step, purposing to the one woman I love more than anything else only to have her fucking.." Kara was cut off by Lena flinging herself at her and pressing her lips to Kara's silencing the blondes rant.

The kiss lasted a long minute before they pulled away both breathless. "Yes.." Lena whispered against Kara's lips. "Yes?" Kara asked. "Yes! YES KARA ZOR-EL DANVERS I WANT TO MARRY YOU!" Lena yelled out. Kara pulled Lena in for another kiss, this one lasting longer than the first one did. This time when they pulled apart Kara reached into her pocket again and pulled the box back out. "So uh...can I see your hand?" Kara asked. "Uh right here!" Lena said as she extended her left hand out.

Kara gently took it and slipped the ring on her finger. "Wow! It's beautiful! Sooo that's what you were doing when said you bought camera stuff?" Lena asked. "I bought camera stuff too..just had to do this first." Kara replied. "I'm sorry I stammered back there..I just wasn't expecting this...any of it. So when you fell to one knee I kind of froze." Lena replied. "It's ok...we'll just skip over that part when we tell everyone." Kara replied chuckling. "Yea..thats a good idea." Lena replied with a smile still admiring the gorgeous ring on her finger.
