After landing at a small private airport Kara and Lena got off the jet and walked over to a suv that was parked near the gate. "We're riding in this?" Lena asked. "Yes. Don't worry it's easy to drive. I've driven it before." Kara said reassuringly. "I trust you Kara. So where are we off to now?" Lena asked as she put her bags in the backseat. "We're off to Juan's. He's a friend I made here last time." Kara said. Lena just nodded in agreement as she got into the passenger seat. "Ready?" Kara asked. "Yes." Lena replied.
One long and bumpy ride later Kara was pulling up in front of a large house. "Is this where we'll be staying?" Lena asked. "For a bit yes." Kara replied. "Ok...that works for me." Lena replied with a smile. "Come on you'll like Juan." Kara said as she grabbed her bag before taking Lena by the hand. As they approached the front door it opened up revealing a young woman and an older man. "Kara! Welcome! Welcome!" The old man greeted smiling at them. "Hello Juan! Juan...Scarlett..this is my girlfriend Lena!" Kara explained. "Ah welcome Lena! Come! Come! I'll take your things! It's so good to see Kara with someone." Juan explained.
Scarlett glared at Lena as they climbed the stairs following Juan to their room. "How eh long have you been with Kara?" Juan asked. "About three months or so..." Lena replied looking at Kara. "Yea..." Kara replied. "Here is your room ladies! Make yourselves at home during your stay here." Juan said as he put their bags on the bed. "Thank you Juan." Kara replied. "Dinner will be in a few hours..so you two have some time to explore, or nap whatever you'd like to do." Juan said. "Ok..that sounds good." Kara replied. "I'll see you two later." Juan said as he shut the door behind him.
