Lunch

"Here it is!" Kara said with a smile. "The only restaurant in town is inside the grocery shop?" Lena asked. "No its out back the grocery shop." Kara said. "Oh...um...that's different." Lena replied. "Come on Lena...live a little. It's got great seafood." Kara said. They walked around the back of the grocery store and into the small restaurant. "Kara! Megan! How are you doing today? Oh and who is this?" An older woman asked. "Hello Mrs. Malcom! We're good, this is an old friend of mine Lena. Lena this is Mrs. Malcom, the owner of the restaurant. Do you have a table available?" Kara asked. "Indeed I do for my favorite customers." Mrs. Malcom said.

The three of them were led to a booth in the back of the restaurant. "Here are your menus." Mrs. Malcom said as she passed them two menus. "Megan..what would you like?" Kara asked. Megan leaned into Kara and whispered something in her ear before sitting back down. "What looks good to you Lena?" Kara asked. "I'm thinking about the muscles. What does Megan want?" Lean asked. "She's gonna share my Spetsofai with me." Kara replied.

After giving Mrs. Malcom their orders she left them to talk amongst themselves. "So where do you take most of the photos from?" Lena asked. "Mostly around the beach, or in the mountains. Sometimes when I go to National City I take some photos from high buildings. When I was there this last time I took some photos off the top of L Corp." Kara admitted. "Really? And I never even noticed it on the camera system." Lena replied.

"Mommy...potty." Megan said. "Come on love let's go to the bathroom." Kara said as she picked Megan up. "I'll be right back." Kara said as she disappeared. Alone once again Lena began thinking about how she got here. Sure she knew she flew....then took a boat and finally climbed up a bloody mountain...but that's not what she was thinking over. She wanted to know how she Lena Kieran Luthor L Corp CEO got here sitting opposite the one woman she's in love with and her daughter. She knows what she has to do now. She has to win over Kara's heart and Megan's and get them to come back with her.

A few minutes later Kara and Mega retired to the booth at the same time as their drinks arrived. "And for my favorite mini customer one chocolate milkshake." Mrs. Malcom cooed. "Tha you." Megan replied with a smile. "Your food will be out in a little bit ladies." Mrs. Malcom added before she disappeared again. "Kara..would you ever consider going back with me?" Lena asked. Kara looked at her with her eyebrows raised in question. "And what? Live with you?" Kara asked. "If you'd like to,  I wouldn't be opposed to living together." Lena said.

"Lena my daughter barely knows you. And I'm still trying to figure out if I am to move back...how long would it be till you get mad at me again and ban me from your life?" Kara asked arching an eyebrow at her. "I'm not gonna do that ever again Kara! I came here not only to find you and tell you how I feel....but to also to ask you to come back with me. To be with me in every sense. I love you Kara Danvers. I don't drink anymore, I come home every night at five sharp, I no longer work weekends unless it's an absolute necessity. I cook regularly now, hell I'll even sell my penthouse and buy a house outside the city with a large yard, a pool, swing set, play house, whatever you like. You can continue your photography business, I'll even hire a tutor for Megan." Lena explained.

"Enjoy your meals ladies." Mrs Malcom said as she put their food down and left again. Kara took the smaller plate and cut up some of her sausages and put it on there along with some vegetables. "Eat up Megan." Kara said. "O tay mommy." Megan replied. Kara then looked at Lena again before she began speaking. "Lena...that sounds great and all...and yes I'm still in love with you..but I can't say yes...not until Megan trusts you....not until I can trust you again." Kara replied. "I understand that I do. That's why I brought my work with me, so I can stay here and earn both of your trusts again." Lena explained.

Kara finished chewing her food as she looked at Lena in shock at what she said. "Really? That's why you brought so many bags?" Kara asked. "Yes. I'll b working remotely until you and Megan trust me." Lena replied. Kara was gobsmacked at what Lena was telling her. "Well...looks like we'll b bunking together for a while." Kara said. "Looks like it. I hope you're ok with this." Lena said. "I am. Megan?" Kara got her daughter's attention. "Mommy?" Megan said. "Lena is gonna be staying with us for a while is that ok with you?" Kara asked. "Yesh...me ike eena." Megan replied. "Ok! My two year old likes you so thats a step in the right direction." Kara replied.

Lena smiled at Kara as they continued eating their lunch together. "You do know I'm going to Midvale in a week to celebrate Megan's third birthday...then right back here." Kara explained. "I know. And I'll be going with  you if you want, and returning with you." Lena replied. "Sounds good to me, are you ok watching Megan so I can go pay?" Kara asked. "Sure. We'll be ok huh Megan?" Lena asked with a smile. "Yesh eena." Megan replied. "Mommy will be right back sweetheart then we can go get some groceries." Kara replied as she walked off to pay for their bill.

"Eena? You ike mommy?" Megan asked looking up at Lena with the same bright blue eyes as Kara. 'Damn those eyes.' Lena thought to herself. "Yes Megan, I like your mommy very much...in fact I love your mommy." Lena replied. Megan continued to look up at Lena she appeared to be studying her or something. Suddenly Megan stood up on the booth seat and wrapped her little arms around Lena's neck and pressed a kiss on her cheek. "I ike you eena!" Mega said as she sat back down, this time on Lena's lap.
