It's been six months since Kara and Lena got back together, and things were going very well for the couple. So well in fact that Kara was thinking about proposing to Lena. She'd put a lot of thought into how, where, and when she wanted to do it. Now she just had to pick out a ring and a bracelet to do so. Right now she was in downtown National City along with Alex, looking for engagement rings. "So you're really gonna do it?" Alex asked. "Yes I am. She's the one Alex. She's my person." Kara replied as they walked int a fancy jewelry store.
"Good morning ladies! How can I be of service?" The old woman behind the counter asked. "I'd like to purchase an engagement ring for my girlfriend." Kara said. "Of course! Do you have something in mind?" The woman asked. "Uh yea...I've got a drawing here." Kara said as she pulled out a folded up piece of paper. The woman looked at it before quickly grabbing trays of rings that were similar to the drawing. "Do you see anything here that catches your eye?" The woman asked.
Kara looked them over but frowned when she didn't see anything like her drawing. "No..." Kara replied. "Well if you like I can always make you a custom ring..just like that drawing." The woman said. "That'd be great!" Kara exclaimed happily. "Ok! Come on back here and we can design your engagement ring." The woman said. Kara and Alex followed the woman into a back room where they all took seats in front of a computer.
The woman began tapping away pulling up different metals and gems in various cut options. "I'd like it to be pure silver or white gold, with a sapphire in a round cut in the center, with two small diamonds on the sides." Kara explained. The woman tapped away on the computer and brought up several design options. "Like this?" The woman asked. "Yes! That one there in the middle. Can I also get a custom bracelet to go with this?" Kara asked. "Of course!" The woman replied.
A few long hours later Kara had placed the order for the ring and the custom bracelet that would have three gemstones in it along with as the woman called it 'the supergirl' symbol on the inside. "There! I can't wait to pick them up!" Kara exclaimed as they got into Alex's car. "You did a nice job designing them Kara. There's no way she won't say yes." Alex replied as they returned to Alex and Kelly's house where Megan was.
