I Went Overboard...

Two weeks after moving in with Lena, Kara and Megan were finally settling in. It was now a weekend and the trio were out in a local park together. Kara was pushing Megan on the swing while Lena sat on a bench by the swing set. She was still adjusting to being the other 'mom' in this relationship even though she's spent a lot of time alone with Megan she still has doubts that she'll be good enough as Megan's momma. It was something that she would have to talk about this with Kara.

"Moooommma!" Megan squealed as she began running over to Lena. "Hey sweetheart! Did you have fun swinging?" Lena asked. "Yesh!" Megan said. "She wants you to go down the slide with you now." Kara said. "Oh...uh ok..." Lena replied. "Lee...go have fun! I'll take pictures." Kara replied. "I've never used a slide..." Lena said. "What?!? Just climb up there with Megan, then hold her on your lap as you slide down." Kara explained. "Ok..ok.." Lena said. "Momma we side now pese?" Megan asked. "Of course sweetheart! Let's go!" Lena replied as she picked Megan up into her arms and headed for the slide.

Kara got her camera out and readied herself to take pictures. She loved the bond that was forming between Lena and Megan. She could tell that Lena had doubts about everything, and she also knew that they'd have to talk about it soon. However after this they'd be going to the grocery store. It will be the first time they'll be shopping for the three of them, usually it was just Kara and Megan who went shopping, while Lena worked.

After a few minutes of sliding Megan and Lena returned to where Kara sat. "Are you ready to go shopping?" Kara asked. "Yes, and we also need to go shopping for Megan's room too." Lena added. "Dinos!" Megan squealed. "Yes we'll get dinosaur decorations." Kara said. "Yay!" Megan squealed as they headed to the car.

A few minutes later they were pulling up to a department store and Kara was taking Megan out of the backseat. "Ok! I'll grab the cart." Lena said as she walked into the store ahead of Kara and Megan. "Come on bug! Let's get you some dinosaur decorations for your new room." Kara cooed as she held Megan. "Heres the cart Kar..." Lena said. "Ok...Megan let's get you situated so we can go find some dinosaurs to decorate your room." Kara said.

A little while later they were in the kids section of the store looking over everything dinosaur related. "So do you want blue or purple dinosaurs?" Lena asked. Megan looked from her to the blanket options before yelling out blue. "Blue it is then!" Lena said as she began grabbing everyone blue with dinosaurs on it and putting them in the cart. "Lee! Don't go overboard." Kara warned. "Kara..it's ok. I'm a literal billionaire, money is no object." Lena replied. Kara could only roll her eyes and shake her head as Lena continued putting things in the cart.

A couple of hours later the trio was back home. Lena was decorating Megan's room and bathroom while Kara put the groceries away and Megan slept on the sofa. Lena emerged an hour later with a guilty look on her face. "Lee?" Kara asked. "Ok...so maybe I went a little overboard with Megan's stuff." Lena said. "I knew you would...but it's ok...now do you want to talk about whats bothering you?" Kara asked as she passed her a glass of water. "Ok... I know we've talked about this...a lot but I'm still nervous about being Megan's momma...I mean what do I do? Do you want me to adopt her? Are we at that point yet? I mean we don't technically have a title ourselves....do we? I mean are we girlfriends? What?" Lena blurted out.

"Lena. We're definitely girlfriends. Do you want to adopt her? And whenever I decide to buy a house you'll be moving in and you can decorate Megan's room and the play room and we can get a pool with an attached hot tub. We can do whatever you want..." Kara replied. Lena cocked an eyebrow at the blonde. "So if tomorrow I wanted us to get married we could do that?" Lena's question caused Kara to choke on her water spitting it everywhere. "Uh...if that's what you want...we can do it...it will be incredibly short notice though for everyone." Kara stammered.

"Good to know. Thank you for reassuring me again Kar...it means a lot." Lena replied. "Anytime Lee." Kara replied as she pressed a kiss to the dark haired woman's lips before wiping off the counter.
