Kara and Lena's Date (Part Two)

After a nice lunch Kara and Lena walked hand in hand down the street to the theater. "So what movie would you like to see? I know you don't like horror movies." Lena said as they walked into the building. Before Kara could speak someone came running from out behind the counter. "Kara!" The blonde woman yelled out. "Lexie?" Kara replied her brows knitting together. "Kara! Your back! I missed you!" Lexie replied. "Yea..I'm back..." Kara replied. "Oh..who is this?" Lexie asked as she eyed Lena. "This is my girlfriend Lena." Kara said proudly. "It's...nice to meet you..." Lexie says. "You too. Uh..we'd like two tickets for the new comedy and a several large buckets of popcorn and four large sodas. Am I forgetting anything?" Lena asked looking at Kara. "No thats it." Kara replied. Lexie blinks a couple times before returning behind the counter. "Is that everything?" Lexie asked. "Yes thats its." Lena replied pulling out her card.

A few minutes later they're sitting in the middle the empty theater waiting for the movie to begin. "So who's Lexie?" Lena whispered. "Old friend from high school...I can't tell you how many times she's tried to get into my pants..." Kara explained with a hint of disgust in her voice. "You sound disgusted about that." Lena replied. "It's cause I am. She was shameless about it..she would screw everyone in high school to make me jealous. It was disgusting." Kara explained. "Oh..." Lena replied softly. "Don't worry I'm not mad at you for what happened when I wasn't here." Kara reassured.

The movie began and Lena found herself cuddling with Kara as they shared the popcorn and drinks. "This is fun...we need to do this more often." Lena whispered. "I agree." Kara replied. The movie continued and they both laughed out loud as the characters did some crazy antics on screen. When the movie was finished they tossed their garbage and walked out of the theater together. "What would you like to do now?" Lena asked. "Maybe go for a walk through town...I'm not exactly ready for our date to end." Kara replied. "Me either." Lena replied.

"So what was your favorite part of growing up here?" Lena asked as the walked towards the park. "Uh...probably all the nature around me. On Krypton the trees were purple and were very smooth to touch, here they're rough and different colors. And the animals I saw...I freaked out over seeing a rabbit the first time...Alex doubled over in laughter at me." Kara explained. "Did Krypton not have rabbits?" Lena asked. "Not really they had something similar...it had long ears but it ate meat instead of grasses. And...it wasn't soft and cuddly...they had spikes on their bodies." Kara replied.

Lena's eyes doubled in size at this new found knowledge. "Wow!" Lena gasped. "I can tell you more about Krypton if you want sometime." Kara offered. "Really? I'd like that." Lena replied. "Yea. Maybe tonight we could go up to the roof and I can show you where Krypton used to be....if you'd like." Kara suggested. "I'd like that very much!" Lena replied happily. "Great! We should probably head back now..." Kara replied softly. "Yea...probably...are you gonna take some photographs?" Lena asked. "Probably. Would you like to come with me when I go?" Kara asked. "Sure!" Lena replied with a smile.

Together they walked back to the car hand in hand. "I really did have fun today Lee." Kara said as she got into the passenger seat. "Me too Kar..." Lena replied. The car ride back to Eliza's house was short but they managed to talk about everything they wanted to do together date wise. "So..uh...where will you stay while you're home shopping?" Lena asked. "Probably either a hotel or Alex and Kelly's. Why?" Kara asked.

"Why..you don't you stay at my place. There's plenty of rooms for Megan to sleep in...I mean...if you want." Lena replied. Kara thought for a moment before she replied. "Are you sure about that Lena?" Kara asked. "Of course I am! I mean you were just telling me that you'd like to move in with you and Megan when you get a new house. So why not start now. It would give Megan and I a chance to bond better. And you can still take photographs, the roof has a great view of the city." Lena said.  Kara looks at her as they sit in Eliza's driveway. She's looking for any sign of insincerity but theres only sincerity on Lena's face. "Ok...when we return from Greece we'll move in with you." Kara said with a smile. "Brilliant!" Lean replied with a smile.

Once they get back inside the house Kara is quickly greeted by Megan a who comes running over to her squealing as Ruby chases after her. "Whats gotten into you darling? Is cousin Ruby getting you?" Kara asked. "Yesh..." Megan says her face in Kara's neck as she talks. "Why are you chasing her?" Kara asked. "She wouldn't go potty for me." Ruby sighs. "Did you sit in the bathroom with her?" Kara asked. "No...I was trying to give her privacy..." Ruby replied. "It's ok Rubes, I'll take her up now and try it with her." Kara replied as she walked off towards the stairs Megan tucked in her arms.

Lena went into the living room and joined Alex and Kelly on the sofa. "How was your date?" Alex asked. Lena smiled at the red head. "It was amazing! Really amazing!" Lena replied. "What movie did you see?" Kelly asked. "We watched that new Sandler movie...and ate buckets of popcorn." Lena explained. "That sounds like fun! It's good to see Kara happy again." Alex replied. A few minutes later Kara returned and puts Megan on the floor only for her to go running on her little legs over to Lena. "Eeena! Eeeena!" Megan cries out as the dark haired woman scoops her up onto her lap. "Hey little one!" Lena cooed. "Eeena!" Megan replies as she nuzzles her head into Lena's chest.

"Someone seems to be in a better mood now." Eliza says as she and Sam join them. "Was she grumpy or something while we were gone?" Kara asks. "She kept asking when you and Lena were coming back, repeatedly." Sam groaned. Kara looked at the brunette before sitting next to Lena. "Did you miss us?" Kara whispered. "Yesh mommy!" Megan says. "Well we're here now ok bug. Next time we go out we'll take you with us ok." Kara replied. Lena looks at her and smiles. "Yes..we can go watch a nice cartoon in the big theater..and maybe get ice cream." Lena adds. "Yesh!" Megan replied as she lay her head back on Lena's shoulder
