"None of this is your fault..."

Lena walked up the stairs slowly as she thought of what to say to Kara. She slowly approached the bedroom door and opened it to see Kara sitting on the bed with her head in her hands, just as Eliza said she'd be. "Kara? Kara?" Lena called her name softly. "Kara? Can we talk?" Lena asked when the blonde lifted her head up. Kara nodded slowly and followed Lena out the door. They walked up to the attic and took a seat on the old mattress up there. "Let me guess mom saw me and sent you up here to talk?" Kara asked. "Yes, but I wanted to talk to you anyway about this." Lena began. "Ok..I'm listening." Kara said.

"Kara...whatever I did when you were gone...isn't your fault. None of it is. It's my fault. All of it. As you heard...I've changed everything about myself...and like I told you in Greece I want to be with you. I want to be with you and Megan." Lena said. Kara looked up at her taking in her features for the first time in a while, she really looked at Lena Luthor. All of the dark haired woman's emotions were on her face in that moment. Kara could see that she meant every word she was speaking. "I want that too." Kara replied after a moment. Lena smiled at the blonde before pulling her into a hug.

"So did you ever sleep up here?" Lena asked. "Yea..actually I did...when I first arrived here Alex hated me, and I was sad all the time. So one night after Alex said that she hated me and that I'd never be her sister...I took off up here. I found it empty so I grabbed the spare bedroom mattress and came up here with it. Eliza found me in the morning sound asleep, right here. It became my room for a long time. Till one day at school I was getting teased by a group of kids...to the point that they dumped their food on me...Alex well...she ran over to them and began beating them up. She shouted at them telling them that 'no one messes with her sister'. After that well I moved into that room where Megan is now. And Alex and I have been close ever since." Kara explained.

"Oh wow...thank you for sharing that with me." Lena replied. "It's kind of late...I think we should head to our rooms." Kara said. "Rooms?" Lena asked. "Yea, I'll be in the old study and you'll be in the spare room." Kara said. Lena remained silent for a moment as she gathered her thoughts. "You can just sleep in the same room as me...I walked into the study when I was looking for you...it's awful small. And we've shared a bed in Greece..." Lena replied. "Are you sure?" Kara asked. "Of course Kara." Lena replied. "Ok...I'll go grab my bags." Kara replied. Lena nodded as she headed to the spare room and waited.

A few minutes later Kara was in the spare room with Lena. Their backs to each other they got into their pajamas and got into bed. "Good night Kara." Lena whispered. "Good night Lena." Kara replied.
