The next day after Kara posted the photographs up on her website Kara decided to take Lena into the nearby town to do some shopping at local shops. "Where are you two off to day?" Juan asked over breakfast. "I'm taking Lena into town to do some shopping." Kara replied. "Oh that sounds like fun." Juan replied. Scarlet sat at the other end of the table silently glaring at them while they talked. "When will you be back?" Juan asked. "Oh..uh..I was actually thinking of getting a room in town for us. I want to take some photographs in town while we're here." Kara explained. "Well it was nice seeing you again Kara. And it was...eh...nice meeting you Leslie!" Scarlett scoffed. "It's Lena!" Lena corrected her for the ninth time that week. "Leslie...Lena..whatever..I'm going upstairs to shower." Scarlet groaned as she took off. "Please forgive her...she usually isn't like this..." Juan said. "It's ok Juan..." Kara replied. "Come on love..let's go shower and get ready to head into town." Lena replied.
A little while later Kara and Lena were thanking Juan for letting them stay and telling him that they'd be back sometime in the future. "Ready?" Kara asked as they got into the car. "Yes! I'm very much looking forward to seeing this town." Lena replied. "I'm looking forward to showing you around Lee! There are some nice restaurants in town...and a nice little B & B I've booked for us." Kara said.
A few hours later they were pulling up next to a bed and breakfast. "Here we are! Come on Lee, let's get settled and then we can go shopping." Kara said. Lena followed Kara inside where she was surprised to hear Kara's fluency with the Portuguese language. "Got the keys! Let's go up to our room." Kara said. Lena quickly followed her upstairs and down a short hall lined with doors. "This is us!" Kara said as they paused outside a door with flowers painted on it.
They quickly dropped their bags off, and Kara grabbed her camera bag and headed back out of the building. "Where to?" Lena asked. "Where ever you'd like to go darling." Kara said. "Ok...well let's go do some shopping..before you start taking pictures." Lena suggested. "That's ok with me!" Kara replied. Lena led them through the small town towards what looked like a clothing shop. "Oh look! Kar! Come here!" Lena exclaimed as she dragged the blonde through the store. "I think we should get this for Megan." Lena suggested as she held up a Tshirt with sea turtles on it. "Ohhhh she'll love it!" Kara replied with a smile. "Good! I'll get her this one...and this one...and those shorts." Lena replied as she began plucking clothes off the racks for Megan.
