While Lena remained in the kitchen with Eliza, Kara took Megan up to the room that she and Alex used to sleep in. "Get some rest my little angel...I'm gonna go see grandma now." Kara whispered as she tucked Megan into the twin bed. "Nit...nite mommy.." Megan whispered. "Good night love." Kara whispered. Once the door was shut Kara took her luggage to Eliza's study where there was another bed where she'd be sleeping, before taking Lena's things into the only real spare room. When she was done she headed back to check on Megan only to see the young girl sound asleep in her old bed. A smile spread across her face as she gently shut the door of her old room and headed back downstairs.
She got to the living room when she heard talking coming from the kitchen. Sensing she wasn't supposed to over heart this conversation Kara began floating towards the kitchen. She saw Eliza and Lena having a heated discussion. Silently she leaned against the entrance and listened to everything. Lena had been through so much since she left National City. From sleeping around, to therapy, to quitting drinking. 'Does she blame me for all this?' Kara asked herself.
At the end of the conversation Kara had tears pooling in her eyes. Before Lena turned around she had disappeared upstairs again. She sat on Alex's old bed after locking the door and crying into her hands. "This is all because of me..." Kara whispered to herself.
Back downstairs Lena has now turned around to see what Eliza was looking at only to see nothing. "What were you looking at?" Lena asked. "Kara was just there. However by now I'm almost positive she's up in her room with the door locked." Eliza said. "What? Why?" Lena asked. "Knowing my daughter like I do she's probably overheard what you were saying and now she's blaming herself for what you did while she was gone." Eliza said. "But it's not her fault, though." Lena said. "Well that may be, but Kara will still think it is." Eliza said. "Wh-what do I do?" Lena asked.
"You go up there and use the key above the door frame, go in and talk to her. Take her up to the attic where you can talk in peace. I'll stay here. Go on now!" Eliza said ushering Lena up the stairs.
