Wedding Planning

Kara was in the basement working on some editing while Megan played with her toys on the other side where a sofa sat along with a television and some video game consoles. Lena was just returning home from work with some wedding magazines in hand. "Kara?" Lena called out as she pulled her shoes off. "Down here Lee!" Kara called back. Lena came down the stairs and was quickly pulled into a hug by Megan who squealed with delight upon seeing her. "Mooommmmma!" Megan squealed. "Megan!" Lena cooed back as she picked her up. "You just saw me a few hours ago..." Lena said. "Me no...me mist yu do..." Megan replied. "I missed you too darling! Hey love, hows the editing going?" Lena asked as she leaned in and placed a kiss on the blondes cheek. "Almost done, what would my favorite girls like for dinner?" Kara asked.

"Pizzza!" Megan squealed. "Is pizza ok with you Lee?" Kara asked. "Well we did have salad today...so why not." Lena replied. "Ok...give me five mor minutes and I'll be up." Kara said. "I'll wait for you here if thats ok...I brought home some magazines to look at later when this little monkey goes to sleep." Lena replied. "Oh? Dirty magazines?" Kara asked. "No! Wedding ones. I thought we could look through them together and pick things we like best out of them." Lena suggested shrugging her shoulders as she put Megan back down.

Megan runs off to her toys and begins playing with them once again. "Oh..yea, ok. We can do that tonight." Kara replies with a smile. "I was also thinking about borrowing the basement this weekend..." Lena said. "For what?" Kara asked quirking an eyebrow. "It's gonna be a surprise...I promise not break anything." Lena replied. "Yea..ok I'll go see Alex so we can have a sister day." Kara replied. "Ok good!" Lena said as she wrapped her arms around Kara's waist. "Ok..I'm done. Let's head upstairs. Megan, come on bug!" Kara called.

Together the three of them headed upstairs. Lena took Megan to use the potty while karate washed her hands and prepared to mix up the pizza dough. "Mommy! Mommy! Me hep! Pese?" Megan asked excitedly. "Of course sweetheart! I'll get your chair." Kara replied. She pulled a specialty made chair out and sat it up next to her before putting Megan in it. "Ok bug, lest start rolling the dough out." Kara instructed.

Seeing a good photo opportunity Lena took one of Kara's cameras and began snapping some candids of the mother daughter duo. Kara heard the camera and turned her head and smiled. "Just taking candids of my favorite girls." Lena said. "Come over here and cut some pepperoni up." Kara replied. "Yes love." Len replied. One the pizzas were in the oven Megan ran off to play after washing her hands again with Kara and Lena. "Now..you said something about wedding magazines? We have time now to look through them if you want." Kara suggested.

"Yes. That's a good idea, let's go sit on the sofa." Lena said as she grabbed the stack of magazines and walked to the living room.  Kara sits down first and Lena sits on her lap and begins flipping through the magazine she has in her hands. "I like this dress...but I'm not sure if you'd want to wear a suit or not...cause...I want to wear  pretty white dress..." Lena said. "You want to wear a dress? Miss bad ass CEO...wants to wear a dress?" Kara asks teasingly. "I wear suits all the damn time..I want to wear a pretty white dress for our  wedding." Lena replied. "Ok love...you can wear a pretty white dress...I'll wear the suit." Kara replied.

Lena flips to another page and points to a little cream colored dress. "And I think Megan, Esme and Ruby will look good in this flower girl dresses." Lena said. "I like that color, no what about our bridesmaids?" Kara asked. Again Lena flipped to another random page where there were light plum colored dresses. "I like those too!" Kara said. "I'm glad. I assume you'll have Alex and Kelly stand up with you?" Lena asked. "Yes, and you'll have Jess and Sam?" Kara asked. "Yep." Lena replied with a smile.
