After a lovely weekend alone it was unfortunately time for the newly engaged couple to return home. "Are you sure we have to go home?" Lena whined. "Unfortunately yes we do. You have work to go back to, and I've got to take some new photographs." Kara said as they loaded up the car. "Everyone is gonna freak out you know that right?" Lena asked as she got into the car. "I know...but it's gonna be alright Lee." Kara said reassuring her. "I hope so." Lena grumbles.

"Megan will be tickled to see us." Kara said with a smile. "Yea she will be. She'll probably be the only one who is excited." Lena said. "Actually...Alex will be...she, Kelly and Esme knew about this plan of mine." Kara said. "Really? How long have you been planning this?" Lena asked. "About a month or so." Kara replied as they left the cabin. "A month? Really?" Lena asked laughing. "Yes." Kara said. "Now I'll have to out and get you an engagement ring so that everyone who didn't see it on social media will know we're engaged." Lena said. "Just don't go overboard on the ring...it doesn't need to be anything extravagant." Kara said. Lena rolled her eyes in response to the blonde's comment.

Back in National City everyone has now gathered at Kara and Lena's house ready to celebrate their engagement. Alex had gone out and gotten a banner, and some balloons while Kelly, Esme, and Megan got a cake and some champagne and juice boxes for everyone to drink. While Sam and Ruby brought sandwiches and other finger foods to eat, and Eliza she just came to celebrate with her daughter and future daughter in law. "Ok! Everything is set up! How much longer till they arrive?" Alex asked. "They should be here in about an hour or so." Kelly replied.

"I can't believe they're engaged." Sam said. "I know! It's amazing!" Alex said with a smile. "Yes! Aunt Lena and Aunt Kara are getting married!" Esme squealed. "Someone's excited!" Eliza added. "I am Grammy! I can't wait till they get married!" Esme replied. Megan was busy playing with some toys not really caring what was going on around her.

A little while later Kara and Lena were pulling into their driveway surprised to see it was full of cars already. "What do you thinks going on?" Lena asked. "No idea." Kara said. They got out of the car, grabbing their bags as they walked to the door only to have it swing open automatically by as squealing Ruby and Esme. "CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ENGAGEMENT!" Everyone shouted. "Uh thanks!" Kara said. Everyone pulled a group hug on them as they made their way inside.

"Mommy! Momma!" Megan squealed. "Hey my angel! Did you miss us?" Kara asked as she picked her up and kissed her cheeks. "Yesh!" Megan replied. "We missed you too sweetie!" Lena added. "Momma...wat dat?" Megan asked as she pointed to the ring on Lena's hand. "That's a ring...mommy gave it to me." Lena said. "Why?" Megan asked. "Cause we're gonna get married and become a proper family..would you like that?" Kara asked. Megan made a face before smiling and nodding in agreement.

Once things settled down a bit everyone headed to the kitchen for food and drinks. "So were you surprised?" Sam asked. "Yes! I had no idea sh was gonna do that!" Lena gushed as she held Megan on her lap as she ate her sandwich. Sam smiled at her in response. "Can I see the ring Aunt Lena?" Ruby asked. "Sure!" Lena said as she held out her hand. Everyone except for Sam awed at it and complimented on how beautiful it was. "It's custom made." Kara stated. "Did you show her the bracelet too?" Alex asked. "Not yet...thats for the actual wedding ceremony." Kara said. "Bracelet?" Lena asked. "Kryptonian tradition to give your spouse a custom bracelet on the day of the wedding with your house colors...I'll show you after the party." Kara said. "Ok!" Lena replied.
