Secrets...Revealed

The Boat

Today the trio would be returning to the states for Megan's birthday party. Right now however Kara was busy in the kitchen making snacks for Megan to eat on the boat trip to the main land. "Do you want some help?" Lena asked. Kara looked at her curiously. "You could tell me what you'd like for snacks." Kara replied. "Snacks? How long is this boat ride gonna be?" Lena asked. Kara looked out of the window to gauge the weather before turning back to Lena. "Probably about two hours..." Kara said. "I'll be ok with whatever you make, besides there's food on the jet." Lena added. Kara nodded as she continued cutting up fruit.

"Mommy!" Megan squealed as she came into the kitchen. "Yes my angel?" Kara asked. "We go now?" Megan asked. "In a little bit. Are you all packed up?" Kara asked. "No.." Megan replied. "Ok, after mommy finishes up here I'll go help you." Kara replied. "O tay!" Megan replied as she walked over to her chair. "Lena would you help her up and give her this." Kara said as she pointed to plate and sippy cup of juice. "Sure!" Lena replied.

As Megan ate her breakfast Kara served up Lena and herself some. "Eat up. If you're worried about my boat driving skills..rest assured I'm a safe driver." Kara said. "It's not that...it's just...what is this?" Lena asked looking at her plate. "Yogurt, some fresh berries and some fresh milk." Kara said. "Oh..ok.." Lena replied as she took a bite of the yogurt and berries. Kara watched as her face lit up. "Good isn't it?" Kara asked. Lena nodded her eyes wide.

After breakfast was over Kara quickly did the dishes and headed to help her dagger to pack her bags. Lena too headed to pack a bag for the trip. "Do you want to bring a stuffy along for the plane ride?" Kara asked. "Yesh! Da dino!" Megan said. A little while later after making sure everyone was a hundred percent ready Kara picked up Megan putting her on her shoulders with their bags in her hands they headed down the hill to the boat. Lena walked beside her with her small bag in one hand. "You ok Lena?" Kara asked as she looked back at her. "Yea. I'm ok." Lena replied softly. Kara took her by the hand and gently squeezed it. "It's just a little bit further." Kara said reassuringly.

"Ders the bot!" Megan squealed. "Yes sweetheart theres our boat." Kara replied as they continued walking over to it. Kara put the bags down, before letting Megan off her shoulders. "Come here darling let's get you in first. Remember go sit inside ok." Kara added. Megan walked into where Kara told her to and sat on the bench. "You next. Come on...Lena." Kara said. "I can get in on my own. Worry about the bags first." Lena said. "Ok..." Kara said as she grabbed their bags and tossed them into the boat before she stepped onto it too. Lena just looked at her in shock.

Kara turned around waiting for Lena to get in too, however she noticed she was frozen. "Lena! Give me your hand, I'll help you on." Kara said. Lena slowly nodded and took the blondes hand allowing her help her on the boat. "Your ok! You're on the boat. Why don't you go join Megan inside while I stash our bags." Kara said.  Once everyone was settled Kara started the boat and took off for the main land.
