Dear Diary
Aizawa raises his hand, displaying Bakugo's astonishing score of 705 metres. Gasps of disbelief filled the air, my jaw dropped. Perhaps I could use my tail mixed with a small boost of the whip for this challenge. Some of the other students seemed excited, eager to showcase their own unique quirks.
The gravity of the situation quickly settled upon us as Aizawa's stern voice cut through the murmurs. "You have a few years to become heroes. Don't think it's going to be all games and playtime." His words carried a weight of seriousness, making it clear that this journey would demand our utmost dedication and effort. He continued, striking fear into the hearts of many, "you guys will compete in eight separate tests to determine your potential.
"The person who ranks last in these tests will be expelled immediately." The room fell into a tense silence, his words shaking everyone to their core. Yet, despite the intimidating aura he exuded, Aizawa commanded respect. Deep down, This challenge, while daunting, held the promise of excitement and growth. Life was never meant to be easy, after all.
The group erupted once again as a brunette girl spoke up, questioning the fairness of expelling someone so soon after arriving. It was a typical response from someone like her, advocating for fairness and equality. Aizawa, ever composed, provided an understandable response, acknowledging her concerns while emphasising the need for us to prove our worth.
As Aizawa concluded his speech, a renewed sense of motivation surged within me. He knew how to rally everyone, even if his words carried a hint of deception. I'm not sure how, but maybe why. But my quirk allows me to understand one's emotion, that tone. It wasn't new. This guy is just a huge softy...
Test 1 : 50-Metre Dash
Deep in thought, I placed my hand on my chin, contemplating the various ways I could cover the required distance. One idea stood out among the rest—I could just use my wings, and travel the distance, while it would be easy enough. I wanted it to be a challenge, so instead I walked up to the starting line, looking to my sides, I felt my wings shrink in size, this seemed to catch those around me off guard by my tactic. While I'd love to show off these beauties, I know I have to keep everyone second guessing, hell It's a fun twist.
Placing a hand under my chin I think of possible ways I could travel the distance. My wings will be fast enough. I just need to make the size Mediocre, small but not too small. This will give me speed. I place my hands against the floor ready to get up.
"Runners on your marks, ready!" The sound of the starting signal rang out, and without hesitation, I dashed forward, swiftly crossing over the finish line. Another participant followed closely behind. The test announced the time, "5.36 seconds." I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction with my performance. It wasn't a bad result at all, considering I didn't use my quirk. As part of my fun training Pixie Bob got me and the kids running from... Some fun monsters. And boy did she make it difficult, we couldn't use our quirks at all...
