Dear Diary

Suddenly, the ground trembled beneath me as the boss unleashed another attack, sending a quick blast of a beam hurtling towards me. Instinctively, I summoned my wings, creating a barrier just in time to soften the blow. The impact jolted me, but I pushed through the pain, scrambling to regain my footing.

Amidst the chaos, a blur of green caught my eye—Midoriya. His determination shone brightly as he darted between beams of energy, each dodge a testament to his unwavering resolve. He was risking everything to reach the boss, just as I had tried moments before.

But unlike me, Midoriya wasn't as fortunate. Beams slammed into his body, knocking him to the ground with a sickening thud. My heart clenched with worry, knowing he needed help, and fast.

Pulling myself together, I sprinted towards Midoriya, my wings propelling me forward with urgency. Time seemed to slow as I reached his side, kneeling beside him to assess the damage. His breathing was laboured, but his eyes held a fierce determination.

"You're not alone," I whispered, my voice steady despite the fear gnawing at my insides. With careful movements, I helped him to his feet. I swiftly propelled myself upward using my wings, the rush of wind and adrenaline drowning out everything but the urgency of the moment. Midoriya mirrored my movement, his determination evident as he leaped onto the plane beside me.

"Grab my hand!" Midoriya's voice rang out, filled with conviction and urgency. His words were a lifeline, a beacon of hope in the midst of chaos. "Your daughter is waiting for you," I stated firmly, trying to keep my voice steady despite the fear tightening my chest. David's eyes widened .

Catching me off guard the Boss's voice cut through the air, dripping with disdain. "I'll give you that, you act like real heroes. But you're idiots too." His words stung.

In an instant, the calm shattered. Pain exploded through my shoulder as a bullet tore through flesh and bone, sending shockwaves of agony through my body. The same shot pierced my wing, throwing my ability to stay airborne. I screamed out, the pain and shock overwhelming my senses as I spiralled uncontrollably towards the ground.

Beside me, I heard Midoriya's cry of pain as another bullet found its mark, sending him crashing down beside me. The impact jarred my already wounded body, but I forced myself to push through the pain, to stay conscious and alert.

Gasping for breath, I struggled to move, to assess the damage and formulate a plan. The Boss's laughter echoed in the distance, I couldn't give up now. With gritted teeth, I summoned every ounce of strength and willpower, crawling towards Midoriya's side. His breathing was shallow, his face contorted in pain, but his eyes held a fierce determination. Melissa caught up kneeling next to us, a scared expression written all over.
