Dear Diary

The pale light of early morning filtered through the hospital room window, casting a muted glow over the space. Todoroki stirred on his bed, his gaze shifting towards Midoriya, who was just beginning to wake. "Did you manage to sleep, Midoriya?" Todoroki's voice was soft yet filled with concern as he sat upright. Midoriya rubbed his eyes wearily before answering. "No, not really," he replied honestly. "I figured," Todoroki responded quietly, mirroring Midoriya's fatigue. "Me neither."

I lay in the bed beside Iida, my back turned towards them, pretending to be asleep. Despite my closed eyes, I couldn't help but listen intently to their conversation unfolding. "I've been thinking about that fight," Midoriya said, his voice gaining strength with each word. "Reflecting on it now, we did something pretty amazing." "Yeah," Todoroki agreed, his voice tinged with disbelief. "It feels like a miracle we're even alive."

Midoriya's next words were more solemn. "With my leg injured like this, he could have easily taken us out if he'd wanted to." Todoroki's response was measured, thoughtful. "Yeah, it seems to me he wanted us to both live on purpose, though I must say I'm surprised by you, Iida. He was actually trying to murder you but you stood tall"

Iida, who had been quiet until then, finally spoke up. "That's not entirely true," he interjected calmly, his attention shifting towards me. I felt his gaze settle on my form, even as I feigned sleep. Before their conversation could deepen, the tranquillity of the room was interrupted by the arrival of Gran Torino and Manual. Gran Torino, with his energetic stride despite his age, surveyed the room with a knowing glint in his eye.

"Well, well, looks like the injured youngsters are finally awake," Gran Torino announced cheerfully, his eyes scanning the room until they settled on me, pretending to be lost in slumber. "Not quite everyone," he added with a small sigh, walking over to my bedside. He patted my head gently, as if urging me awake. "Hey there, miss, it's time to rise and shine." I heard Midoriya acknowledging their presence. "Gran Torino," he greeted warmly, with Iida nodding respectfully towards Manual.

Slowly, I opened my eyes, unable to meet anyone's gaze directly. My face felt distant and numb, a facade hiding the weariness and pain within. Using my free arm, I pushed myself upright, wincing slightly as I held onto my stomach, still sore.Gran Torino offered a gentle smile, turning towards Midoriya with a hint of teasing in his voice. "Idiot, I could give you an earful right now," he stated, walking over to the bed where Midoriya sat.

"But before I do" he continues "You got a visitor". Chief Kenji Tsuragamae stood tall and imposing as he entered the hospital room, his presence immediately commanding attention. Midoriya's gasp caught my attention, and I turned to see a man who resembled a large, dog-like figure. He introduced himself as Hosu's chief of police, his deep voice filling the room.
