Dear Diary
Upon arriving home, I thanked Bakugou for walking me in the late night, watching him walk off, I sigh. My eye's puffiness has gone down, without realising I felt an arm wrap around my shoulder "Hmm cheating on me?" the voice jokes, as I look up to see Hawks "Hmmm maybe, why is someone jealous" I look at him as we let out some chuckles. "Hmm maybe, well I wanted to take you to a cafe, I heard about the USJ incident and wanted to know how you were doing" he nervously smiled after mentioning the USJ, I looked up at him nodding "Then let's get going" I smiled.
Excitement fills the air as Hagakure breaks the silence with her question, "You guys! Did you catch the latest news last night?" Curiosity piqued, a chorus of responses followed, ranging from genuine interest to confusion. Wait, what news? Am I missing something important... The topic shifts abruptly, focusing on the USJ. Memories flood in, and I notice Aoyama's face turns to look at him as he lets out a deep sigh, capturing everyone's attention. Sensing a small opportunity, I speak up, my voice filled with a mix of uncertainty and anticipation. "I know it might seem unrelated to the USJ, but I had this... dream recently. It felt so incredibly real." Nervously fidgeting with my leg, I share the lingering details of the dream, hoping to engage my friends in a conversation that transcends the boundaries of reality.
Curiosity engulfs the group as Tokoyami, with his usual politeness, inquires about the nature of the dream. I let out a sigh before answering, my voice tinged with unease. "It was about the main villain, the leader of that group we saw," I explain. Bakugo, displaying his trademark irritation, demands further details. "And what about him?" he asks, his voice laced with impatience. Taking a moment to collect my thoughts, brows furrowing I continue, my words revealing a sense of dread. "In the dream, I found myself tied to a chair. Surprisingly, Bakugo, you were there too," I say, noticing his raised eyebrow and the slight shift in his demeanour. Intrigued, he leans in, urging me to continue.
"There were three other villains present, and one of them was a woman.. no a girl our age. There was something unsettling about her," I disclose, my voice laden with a mix of fascination and trepidation. Pausing for a brief second, I furrow my eyebrows, trying to recall the exact words spoken in the dream. "But before I woke up, he whispered something to me," I say, my voice trembling slightly. Sensing the growing impatience in Bakugo's demeanour, I hasten to reveal the final piece of information. "They said... 'I'll see you soon,'" I utter, the weight of those words sinking in. Small tears well up in my eyes, threatening to spill over, as the realisation of the dream's foreboding message starts to settle within me.
"As you said it's just a dream, don't get so worked up over it" Bakugo responds attempting to shake off the lingering unease, I raise my head, taking in his words of reassurance. He's right; it was just a dream, albeit an unsettlingly realistic one. I remind myself to maintain composure, not allowing the imaginary scenario to overpower my emotions. Just as I try to shift my focus, the ever-diligent Iida interjects, reminding us that class is about to begin shortly.
