Dear Diary
Aizawa stood at the front of the room, his arms crossed and his expression as unreadable as ever. The low hum of the class faded into silence as he leaned over his desk, his voice cutting through the quiet like a blade.
"I believe I mentioned this already," he began, his tone stern but steady, "but your main focus this summer is obtaining provisional hero licenses."
A chorus of voices answered him in practised unison, "Yes, sir."
But he wasn't finished. His gaze sharpened as he scanned the room. "Do not take this lightly," he continued. "A hero license means that you're responsible for human lives.
His words sat heavy in the air. I swallowed, feeling the familiar sting of pressure wrap around my chest. Of course, I knew the weight of a license, it meant stepping out of the safety of 'student' and into the unpredictable world of a hero-in-training who was expected to act when everything was falling apart.
Aizawa's voice pulled me back into focus. "You can imagine that the exam to receive one is very difficult. Only fifty percent of students pass the tests required for these permits each year."
Even Monoma looked shaken. He raised a brow and muttered, "It's that hard to get a provisional license?"
Aizawa didn't hesitate. "Yes. That's why, in order to prepare, today you'll concentrate on creating something new."
There was a pause... like the universe holding its breath. And right on cue, the door creaked open slowly.
My heart fluttered in surprise, a small smile tugging at the corners of my lips. Midnight entered first, her confident stride unmistakable. Cementoss followed, towering and calm, with Ectoplasm right behind him, arms crossed, his stare intense as always.
Their presence sent a ripple through the class. I straightened in my seat, curiosity bubbling under my nerves.
Something new, huh?
Whatever this was...I'm going to do my best.
Aizawa's voice cut through the chatter like a switchblade. "Two ultimate moves."
The room immediately stirred with noise, confusion mingling with excitement. From the far end of the class, Mina shot up from her seat, eyes wide. "Ultimate moves?!"
Denki leaned forward dramatically, gasping, "An exam is a normal school thing?!"
From the other side, Kirishima jumped in, practically bouncing in his seat, "But this is total hero work!"
