Dear Diary
"BEGIN!" Midnight's booming voice echoed through the arena, and the cavalry event commenced with a frenzy of students aiming for Midoriya's headband. I followed Kirishima's lead, observing the other groups. I state "Bakugou, If you dare try anything funny" I joke, fluttering my wings earning tsk from Bakugou. Ducking and dodging from the students around us, I didn't realise Bakugou was slipping from my grasp, panic surged within me.My face went pale as I exclaimed, "He is insane!" Kirishima and Sero seemed equally shocked, expressing their concern .I calmed down trying to assure them, and myself.
As I watched Monoma attempt to snatch the headband, I used my wings to block him which caught him off guard almost knocking him off. However, he held on tightly, determined to assert his superiority. His smug attitude grated on my nerves, especially when he targeted Bakugo. It was a mistake that would not go unpunished. "Kirishima, before we take down Deku, we're going to get rid of all these idiots," he declared, striking a nerve with his dismissive remark.
Realising that other classes, as well as our own, were ganging up on us, we charged back at Monoma, fueled by Bakugo's command. But to our surprise, Monoma used Bakugo's quirk against him, firing back a blast that caught Bakugo off guard. This caused a smirk to form on my face. So he does have tricks up his sleeve. "He can copy other powers," I spoke up, realising the extent of Monoma's quirk "very good" Monoma states impressed, "I love how the princess realised" , his comment only fueled my determination to prove him wrong. We faced another challenge when a liquid resembling cement came hurtling towards us, but with quick reflexes, we narrowly avoided being pulled back by its force. It was clear that we needed a new approach. "Bakugo," I spoke out, and the silence that followed was palpable. "Let me take the lead," I offered, determined to find a strategy that would give us an advantage. Bakugo hesitated for a moment, then finally nodded in agreement.
As everyone dispersed, I paced myself, ready for the next move. A pretty glimmering bubble surrounded our group, leaving our opponents puzzled. "We have almost less than 60 seconds, so let's make sure we get those headbands!" I exclaimed as we chased after the other participants. Utilising my wings, I boosted our speed, surprising everyone with our agility and balance as we charged ahead. A faint tear-like substance filled the floor beneath us, further enhancing our speed as we approached Monoma's group.
"Bakugo, now!" I called out as he leaped forward. I swiftly wrapped the tear substance around him, helping him break through a glass-like wall Monoma had created using his breath. Bakugo managed to snatch some headbands from Monoma's neck, earning cheers from the crowd. With a newfound energy, we knew we had to keep going. I created a shield around Bakugo's scarves and formed more tears to lunge us forward, propelling him once again to the forefront and securing our second-place position. We were soon heading towards Midoriya's group, guided by Bakugo's relentless determination.
