Dear Diary
Waking up from the plane ride, I felt Uraraka shaking me awake. Startled, I blinked rapidly, taking in my surroundings as we prepared to exit the plane. We stood side by side, excitement bubbling within us as the system scanned us in, knowing everything about who we were. Luckily for Uraraka and I, Pixie-Bob had managed to snag us some free tickets, allowing me to bring a plus one. While I would have loved to bring my siblings, their constant bickering made it impossible.
My eyes widened in awe at the sights around us—the futuristic tech, the towering buildings, and the bustling energy of the place. I had never seen anything like it. We checked into our hotel, eagerly throwing our bags onto our beds before racing out into the plaza, eager to explore.
We bumped into Momo and Jiro along the way, and together, we decided to check out different hero items. Walking around, we admired each piece with fascination. Suddenly, Uraraka noticed Midoriya. Her face lit up with a mix of happiness and confusion as she called out, "Looks like you're having fun, Deku."
Midoriya jumped in surprise, his eyes darting between Uraraka and I. "U-Uraraka, T-Tsuk... What are you doing here?" he stammered. Ochako responded almost robotically, "Looks like you're having fun." "You said that," Midoriya pointed out, still shocked.
Momo and Jiro managed to catch up to us, and Momo coughed to grab his attention. "Yaoyorozu?" Midoriya questioned, his confusion evident. Momo's voice was calm but blunt. "You appear to be having a good time," she noted, with Jiro perking up and adding, "Midoriya," as she moved her earphone jacks around. "I heard everything."
I couldn't help but giggle, smiling at the coincidence. "Well, this is a fun coincidence," I chimed in. Midoriya finally relaxed, smiling back at us. "Yeah, it really is. I was just looking at some new hero gear."
"Are these your friends?" the girl asked, looking at us curiously. Midoriya reached out his hand, nervously fidgeting. "Yeah, these are my classmates. I didn't tell them I'd be here." He perked up, turning to us. "Oh, guys, this is my friend Melissa. She was just showing me around the island."
Melissa smiled warmly. "Nice to meet you all! My dad and uncle Mi—" She was cut off by Midoriya, who suddenly started waving his hands frantically in her face, causing us to exchange confused looks. Melissa clapped her hands together, brightening up. "How about we all grab some tea at the café?"
Intrigued, we agreed and soon found ourselves seated at a cosy café. Melissa looked around at us with genuine interest. "Wow, you really get to work with pro heroes, like out on the field?" "Just normal training and a few patrols," Uraraka replied calmly. "I've helped out with a hostage crisis, but only the evacuation part," Jiro added. Melissa's eyes sparkled with admiration. "That's still amazing, though." Momo, looking slightly downcast, said, "I somehow ended up in a TV commercial for products."
