DEAR DIARY
Drawing from the calm and supportive emotions that Felix had shared with me earlier, I felt a powerful surge of strength course through me. My wings, previously feeling like a burden, now radiated a soft, comforting glow. Being able to feel the strong connection with everyone in the camp—each person's stress, worry, and desperate cries for help.
I drew upon this energy and charged at Muscular. The force of my wings pushed me forward, and I used them to shield myself from his ferocious blows. Each impact sent sharp waves of pain through my body, but I clenched my teeth, refusing to let the agony slow me down. With every strike, I continued on, determined to protect those I cared about.
My wings flapped vigorously, deflecting Muscular's powerful swings. I took every chance I got to land hits of my own, my tears burning with an intense heat against his skin. The sensation was almost cathartic—turning my fear and anger into a weapon. Muscular's frustration became palpable. His once calculated attacks grew wild and erratic, fuelled by his anger. I used this to my advantage, weaving in and out of his unpredictable swings and striking back whenever I saw an opening. Each time I landed a hit, the roar of pain felt too good.
"You're tougher than you look," he admitted begrudgingly, his breath coming in heavy, ragged pants. "But you're still not strong enough."
His words stung, but they also ignited a fiercer determination within me
"Not strong enough?" I gritted out, my voice strained but defiant. "We'll see about that."
As Muscular lunged at me once more, I saw an opportunity. Instead of going on the offensive, I manoeuvred myself between him, Rose and Kota. With a determined expression, I spread my wings wide, forming a protective barrier around them.
"You will not hurt them," I said firmly, my voice steady despite the fear clenching at my heart. Muscular's eyes narrowed in disdain as he let out a scoff, his wicked smirk never faltering. "Seriously, giving up already?" he taunted, his voice dripping with mockery.
I held his gaze, a small, defiant smile tugging at my lips. "Nope, just buying time, asshole," I retorted, my tone brimming with resolve.
As if on cue, I saw Midoriya finally manage to push himself off the ground, propelled by sheer willpower. He landed a powerful strike on Muscular, his determination shining through despite his battered state. "Got you now," Midoriya declared, his voice calm but filled with steely confidence.
"Doesn't matter how quick you are." Muscular sneered, his confidence unshaken. "What's your next move? You going to punch me with that puny quirk of yours?" His taunt echoed through the forest as he prepared to retaliate.
