Dear Diary
"You have good friend's ingenium" Stain's unsettling smile widened as he approached Todoroki, his blade dangerously close. Fortunately, Todoroki's quick reflexes allowed him to spot the blade hurtling towards him and react swiftly, using his flames to deflect it just in time. Watching Todoroki engage Stain with his dual powers—ice and fire—was both impressive and nerve-wracking.
Iida's voice broke through the tension once more, pleading with Stain to cease his rampage. "Just stop it! Why are you doing this? This fight is with me. I inherited my brother's name—I'm the one who should stop him. The Hero Killer is mine." His words resonated with a deep sense of determination and vengeance that struck me with shock and disbelief. I understood the urge for revenge all too well.
Todoroki, undeterred by Stain's provocation, responded with steely resolve. "You're Ingenium now? How strange. The Ingenium I knew never had that look on his face," he remarked boldly, conjuring a protective wall of ice in front of us. His next words sent a chill down my spine. "You have a dark side. I guess my family isn't the only one." The implication of his words hit close to home, stirring an unsettling recognition within me.
"Be careful, Todoroki!" Midoriya's urgent warning snapped us back to the present moment.
As they exchanged tense words, I felt a surge of energy coursing through me. Pushing myself up, I realised to my astonishment that I could move again. Stain seized the opportunity, sending blades hurtling towards Todoroki's legs. With his large sword poised to strike, I propelled myself towards Stain, my wings carrying me with newfound strength. I focused my energy into my fist, delivering a punch with lightning speed that caught everyone off guard. Gripping his cape, I pulled him away from the others, creating a brief but crucial diversion.
"I don't know why, but I can move now!" I exclaimed, surprised and bewildered by the sudden turn of events. Midoriya, now on his feet, observed with realisation, "They must have type O blood," a revelation that puzzled me—I certainly wasn't type O. Nevertheless, I used the distraction to push Stain away as Todoroki covered my retreat with a barrier of ice.
Standing next to Todoroki and Midoriya, the tension hung thick in the air as we assessed our next moves. Midoriya broke the silence with his analytical mind at work. "I have three guesses why," he began, his voice steady despite the chaos around us. "His quirk might be less effective with each use, the quantity of blood ingested could affect how long he paralyses someone, and it could also depend on the person's blood type." His insights were met with nods of agreement from us all.
"I'm type B," the other hero offered, prompting Iida to add, "And I'm type A." Stain's smile widened as he acknowledged our deductions. "So you've figured it out. Bravo, very impressive," he remarked, his confidence undiminished.
