As always, Adhira prepared his outfit along with coffee, and after having their breakfast, they both made his way outside the mansion. Sitting in the car, they drove away to the office.
Reaching the office, they both made their way inside their respective cabins. Ivaan sat in his chair, and the moment he turned on the laptop, he received a call from his best friend Aaryan.
Answering his call, he attached his phone to his ear and heard him saying, "Ivaan, that Aarnav Khurana came to my hospital for some check-up and I heard him telling someone on the call that he is visiting you in the evening today . "
Ivaan clenched his jaw hearing him and asked him, "Did he tell the reason why he is coming ? " Aaryan mumbled a small "No" in reply to him. Ivaan sighed and he heard his best friend saying, "He never visited after you destroyed his company, so now I don't know why he is suddenly visiting you . "
Ivaan hummed and told him, "Let's just see what happens and why that idiot is visiting me . " Aaryan nodded his head and told him, "Then we are meeting tomorrow for dinner . "
"Yes, we are . " Ivaan replied to him, making him hum, and with that, the call came to an end. Ivaan massaged his head, and then his eyes landed on Adhira, who was typing on the computer with full concentration, making a smile appear on his face as he saw her.
In the afternoon, Adhira took his lunch, a glass of water along with medicines on a tray and made her way inside his cabin. Entering his cabin, she kept his lunch on his desk and told him, "Your lunch, Mr. Raghuvanshi, and after having your lunch, have this medicines okay . "
He nodded his head and just then he got a call from an unknown number making him frown . " Hello " He said answering the call, and heard from the other side, "It's been so long since I have heard your voice, Ivaan, and yeah, I am coming to meet you in the evening today . "
He just hummed in response and declined the call, not wanting to hear his annoying voice anymore. He then looked at Adhira, who was staring at him, and he raised his eyebrow, making her shake her head.
With that she started making her way outside his cabin but stopped in her tracks when she heard him calling her " Miss. Arora . "
She turned around facing him and he told her, "I am giving you half a day off for today so you can leave for mansion . " She scrunched her eyebrows in confusion and told him, shaking her head negatively, "No Mr. Raghuvanshi, I can't take half a day off, there is so much work to do regarding the art centre . "
He clenched his jaw hearing her and shouted at her, "DO AS I SAY MISS. ARORA , DON'T ARGUE WITH ME; DON'T FORGET THAT I AM STILL YOUR BOSS . "
She looked at him and told him, gritting her teeth, "FINE THEN, MANAGE ALL THE WORK BY YOURSELF. I WILL NOT INTERFERE IN ANYTHING, AND MOREOVER, I WILL NOT COME TO THE OFFICE FROM TOMORROW AS I HAVE ALREADY RESIGNED. TELL MISS MISTRY TO ASSIST YOU IN EVERYTHING. "
