Adhira was a flurry of activity as she prepared for Deekshanth's birthday party. She constantly checked her phone, her eyes scanning the screen for a message or call from Ivaan. "He should be here by now," she muttered to herself, recalling their earlier conversation. "He promised to be home by 7:00 this afternoon."

As she slipped on her anklets, the jingling sound was a stark contrast to the silence from Ivaan's end. Adhira's phone remained still, devoid of any response from him. Her brow furrowed in concern; she decided to try Manyata's number again, but it seemed Manyata was also unreachable. Adhira's sigh was audible as she rose from the bed, phone in hand.

For a moment, she stood in front of the mirror, taking in her reflection. The anklets sparkled, and her outfit seemed to shimmer in the dim light of her room. A nod of satisfaction, and she turned to leave, phone still clutched in her hand. Just as she was about to step out, the sudden ringing of her phone stopped her in her tracks.

She gazed eagerly at the caller ID, her heart racing with the hope that it was Ivaan on the other end. But her excitement was short-lived as she saw an unfamiliar number, and she let out a deep sigh before answering the call.

"Hello, is this Miss. Adhira?" a gentle female voice asked, and Adhira's response was laced with a mix of curiosity and caution. "Yes, it's me. How can I help you?"

The woman on the other end of the line hesitated for a brief moment before delivering the news. "Actually, ma'am, I'm calling from XXX Hospital. We have a patient named Ivaan Singh Raghuvanshi, who is currently in the operating room due to a severe accident. We found your contact in his emergency number list, so we thought it was essential to inform you."

Adhira's world came crashing down around her as the words hung in the air. She felt like she was drowning in a sea of worry and fear. Without bothering to ask any questions or clarify the situation, she grabbed the car keys and rushed out of the mansion, tears streaming down her face like torrential rain.

Getting into the car, she turned the key and roared to life, the engine's hum a gentle comfort as she sped toward the hospital, the source of the frantic call that had sent her world into a tailspin.

As she drove, she recklessly broke every speed limit, her tears-blurred vision rendering the road ahead a hazy, watery blur. The landscape outside was a green and brown smear, her focus solely on reaching the hospital as quickly as possible.

Just as the numbness began to wear off, her phone shrilled to life, piercing the tense silence. Without hesitation, she snatched it up, her hand trembling as she pressed it to her ear, not bothering to check the caller ID. She was beyond caring who was on the other end; all that mattered was getting to the hospital.
