Long live the walls we crashed through
How the kingdom lights shined just for me and you
I was screaming, "Long live all the magic we made"
And bring on all the pretenders
One day we will be remembered

Amerie walked out onto the stage, the crowd was surprised, after all she was a surprise act.

The mask was up, she was in performance mode.

"Hello Dublin" Amerie said through her microphone.

The crowd cheered quietly, it was as if they knew not to overload her with load noises.

"Well I guess this is a bit of a surprise for you all, my Mom thought it would be a good idea if I came out here and played some songs, obviously I only have one song.. but erm she told me to play one of her songs. So I guess I'm dedicating this song to my Mom like she did to her Mom" Amerie said sitting down at the piano and starting to play the chords to The Best Day.

Her voice sounded perfect, she sang angelically. The crowd waved their phone torches gracefully even if it was still light outside.

The song came to an end and Amerie quickly changed up to Shadows Lurking.

After getting mid way into she song she paused.

"I can't do this.. I've been keeping a secret" Amerie sighed.

The crowd seemed worried and confused.

Amerie signalled to the screen, an image of her new album appeared.

"I couldn't play this song, without telling the secret. My new album The Ballard Of An Autistic Girl will be out October 16th. I know it's a long wait, but there's still a lot of perfecting to go into the album, things I won't go into detail with as it will be a long burning conversation. Trust me I couldn't even keep my eyes open when Jack and my Mom were explaining it to me." Amerie chuckled.

"Well I guess, when people finish their acts they sometimes say why they are grateful and love Taylor. But you already know that I'm both grateful and love her, because she's my Mom. But I thought I'd say something I've been wanting to tell her for a while now." Amerie said opening a piece of paper.

"Sorry it's written down I'm rather forgetful sometimes.

Dear Mom,

I remember sitting in the psychologists office, you holding my hand. I didn't understand what was going on, but all I knew is that I had you.

You tried your best to help me feel more confident in myself, but I never did. That's not your fault, that's just a me thing.. I can't change the way I see myself, but you always make me feel a bit less insecure about myself. I see you as the person who accepted me for I am and never put me down.

I'm grateful and love you because you've done so much for me, always supported me in everything I do. Been there to back me up when children at school bullied me for being different, you would defend me, fight for what's right. You've been doing that since I was born.

You're my hero, my inspiration. This album I'm working on, you inspired it, I've looked up to you since I came into this world, you raised me with love and music. That makes you an excellent, perfect Mom.

So thank you".

Amerie finished her speach and exited the stage welcoming Paramore on, like nothing happened.

Amerie ran out to the area where her Mom told her to meet, where she would be rolled in by the cleaning cart.

"Amerie" Taylor said in tears, she rushed up to her daughter and hugged her.

"Why are you sad? Did I do something bad?" Amerie said.

"No, you did everything perfect. These are tears of happiness and proudness for you, you inspire me too, I don't know if I would have made it this far if I didn't have you always telling me I had the most angelic voice, so here I am telling you that you have the most angelic voice, seriously Amerie you are one talented beautiful girl" Taylor said still with tears of proudness in her eyes.

"Thank you" Amerie said snuggling into her Mom further.

Taylor placed a kiss on Amerie's forehead.

"I love you, why don't you head out to the VIP tent, I'm sure they will be some people you are able to talk to there or feel comfortable around" Taylor said getting ready to step into the cleaning cart.

"I still don't understand why you hide in a cleaning cart" Amerie chuckled.

"Because it's fun!" Taylor giggled giving Amerie one last kiss on the forehead.

Amerie sat in the VIP tent with Stevie Nicks.
They danced around and sung their hearts out. Amerie was receiving notifications from TikTok, people were already making edits of her album announcement, using the audio Clara Bow. The edits were cute, clips from her announcement but also clips of videos from red carpets and videos her Mom had uploaded of them.

Amerie opened Airbuds, an app she kept secret from her Mom. It wasn't like a massive social media, but she followed a lot of fans on there.

"Amerie, you are needed backstage" Natalia from Taylor Nation said.

"Oh" Amerie replied leaving the VIP tent.

Ofcourse twitter will be going mental that she had just left the VIP tent, but she didn't even know herself why she was leaving the VIP tent.

Amerie was led backstage, she was hidden the best way possible.

Taylor ran up to Amerie hugging her, she was changing costume for red.

"How are you?" Taylor asked.

"I'm okay" Amerie smiled.

"I saw you from the VIP tent you looked upset" Taylor said with a worried tone.

"I'm just tired" Amerie sighed.

"Why don't you rest back stage" Taylor said fixing her mic pack.

"Yeah" Amerie said sitting down on the couch that was backstage.

"See you later!" Taylor said getting ready to skip out on to stage.
