"You're incredibly beautiful Amerie" Alice said brushing Amerie's bangs out her face.
"Thankyou" Amerie replied shyly.
"We might not see each other in a while, I'm being moved foster homes, the foster carers at Nashville have been kind enough to let me go to your party, your Mom's concert, but it was an emergency placement, this is a foster family, if they like me I might have a chance, but I doubt it" Alice said.
"I'm sure you will get your forever family someday" Amerie said calmly.
"You're always so hopeful" Alice whispered looking into Amerie's piercing blue eyes.
"Sometimes hope is what you need to get you through the tough days" Amerie said, but realising how cringe that sounded she felt a tad bit embarrassed.
"You're sweet" Alice replied.
"So I guess this is goodbye" Amerie said with a touch of sadness.
"Who knows, I'm sure we will be able to meet up. The foster parents are in Nashville so when Taylor finishes touring I'll see you then and keep in touch" Alice said picking up her bag.
"You're leaving now?" Amerie questioned.
"My social worker dropped me off to say goodbye" Alice said gathering the rest of her stuff.
"I'm crazy for you" Amerie blurted out.
"You make me crazier" Alice replied leaving the teenagers bedroom.

"I'm sure you will see Alice again" Taylor said comforting Amerie.
"I know it's just, we haven't made it official, like girlfriends. We kissed and we didn't even manage to have our first date, it all just felt a bit rushed" Amerie sighed.
"Teenage relationships do feel like that sometimes, but that's what can be magical. It can feel slow or rushed, but it still can be amazing" Taylor said stroking Amerie's hair.
"I don't even know if I like girls, I like Alice, but other girls I'm not sure" Amerie questioned.
"That's okay, you can like boys to or anyone. Maybe Alice is just the special girl you need, maybe you have a special type" Taylor said.
"What? Autistic and red head?" Amerie replied.
"Who knows?" Taylor let out a small chuckle.
"I think today's the day when I post Shadows Lurking..." Amerie said to her Mom.
"Yeah? Do you wanna do that now? No announcement, just drop it as a surprise" Taylor said.
"Yeah" Amerie replied.
"Sounds great, I'll help you with uploading the clip onto YouTube and then we can upload some small clips to TikTok and Instagram and promote on the rest of your socials" Taylor said setting up the laptop.
"I might go live on TikTok, so when it's out then people will be shocked" Amerie said.
"Well it's uploading it has like 20 minutes so go live now" Taylor said passing Amerie her phone.
"Okay! You gonna be in the live or not?" Amerie asked.
"Definitely!" Taylor said.
Amerie clicked on the live button and fans started flooding the live.
"So I wanted to go live today, just to speak to you all" Amerie said shyly.
"There's some Q&A questions that have been submitted" Amerie said opening the questions.
What is your favourite song by your Mom?
"That's a good question, erm.. I'm not sure probably Mirrorball" Amerie replied.
"That's because I wrote it about you" Taylor chuckled.
The comments were going crazy, fans never knew this information and Taylor blurted it out.
"Mom!" Amerie said rolling her eyes.
PING! Shadows Lurking uploaded...
Comments were going crazy spamming OMG and WHAT every single few seconds.
"Watch party?" Amerie asked turning on the TV behind her to play Shadows Lurking.
Amerie propped her phone against a stack of books on the coffee table.
Her and Taylor started to dance to Shadows Lurking, dance it out as Cristina Yang called it.
The live comments were flooded with spams of random letters and capital mixed together.
It was truly crazier.
