"Amerie, sorry for snapping at you earlier" Taylor said sitting down on Amerie's bed.
"It's whatever" Amerie shrugged
"I'm not mad or angry at you, I'm disappointed that you were misbehaving. Amerie I'm not sure what's got into you, but please know if something is bothering you that you can talk to me or Travis, anyone just talk to someone. I am going to ground you, but since you actually enjoy being in your bedroom alone I'm setting you a few chores and I'm taking your phone away for two days" Taylor said
"Fine with me" Amerie sighed
"Come help me with dinner I'm making homemade chicken tenders" Taylor said
"I'm not hungry" Amerie shrugged
"I don't care, you're eating it" Taylor raised her eyebrows at Amerie's declaration of not being hungry
"I ate when I went out with Julia and Piper" Amerie smiled, a complete lie but she wasn't in the mood to eat anything
"Okay, well if you get hungry later tell me and I'll make you a snack or something small" Taylor said
"Yeah thanks" Amerie shrugged

Amerie sat on her bed reading, her parents downstairs enjoying their dinner.
"Hey, I thought you might want something so I saved you two chicken tenders" Taylor said passing the plate of chicken tenders
"Thank you" Amerie said taking a bite out of one of the chicken tenders.
"I just thought I'd let you know that tomorrow you have a therapy appointment, so try rest up get a good sleep so things go more smoothly tomorrow, I'll be with you the entire time" Taylor said
"Thank you, love you"

The morning came quickly, the family of three sat eating their breakfast, Travis and Taylor engaging into a conversation, while Amerie remained quiet
"Anxious about the appointment?" Taylor asked Amerie
"Huh?" Amerie shrugged being pulled out of her own zone
"I asked if you're feeling anxious about the appointment" Taylor said
"Not sure" Amerie sighed
"Well finish up your breakfast, get dressed and ready we need to make sure we are on time" Taylor said
"Mhm" Amerie mumbled eating her granola.
Amerie ate rather slowly, on purpose she didn't feel like going to therapy.
"Amerie come on you need to get dressed now" Taylor warned
"I'm not finished" Amerie mumbled
"You can have a snack in the car" Taylor said
"Fine" Amerie stood up and stomped to her bedroom
"I'll just put your bowl in the sink why don't I!" Taylor sighed, clearing away Amerie's dishes
