Amerie and Alice were sat on the couch, sinking into the back.
"Tree, go easy on them. They are young and expressing themselves." Taylor said
"Well, they have made headlines and made my life a living hell. I have to remove every post, everything." Tree sighed tapping away on her laptop and making phone calls.
"We don't want that. We want the world to know we are in love." Amerie said
"Hey and that's great that you are in love, but not everyone in the world is acceptable and Tree wants to remove the negative posts. I think you two have been brave, but there was much simpler ways to come out." Taylor said
"You know if you just came to me and asked, I would have made a respectable post. Instead I have people calling Taylor a bad mother, I have posts saying you two are uncivilised, it's worse for Amerie since she is more in the spotlight, and since you are the daughter of a famous popstar, your mom is getting all the blame." Tree sighed
"I'm sorry." Amerie gulped her guilt down.
"There's just better ways of approaching this. You two have created havoc, parents are angry that their children have had to witness kissing, and swearing." Tree said tapping away
"Is it really bad?" Taylor asked
"Extremely, you've already made it on BBC news in the UK, other news agents. The most trending hashtag currently is #canceltheswifts" Tree sighed
"It's all my fault, it's happening again. People hate you mom, I'm sorry." Amerie said
"Hey. Let's calm. It's not your fault. People take things too far, you two didn't mean harm you just love each other." Taylor said holding back her tears
"Well it caused more harm than it should have. I've managed to get posts taken down, I'm creating a formal apology Amerie will send out apologising for the both of you. Taylor it may help for you to make a statement." Tree said
"Of course." Taylor nodded beginning to work on a statement.
"I'm really sorry." Amerie sighed
"We know you are. Mistakes happen, you will learn from them." Tree said
"I know, I just didn't think it would cause so much chaos." Amerie sighed
"Alice your parents will be here soon." Taylor said
"Thank you Taylor." Alice smiled picking up her bag to get ready.
"No worries." Taylor smiled
"I've posted the statements on your accounts now we just get on with our lives and hope this is cleared up. You two give me hell, I'll be having grey hairs soon because of you two. You as well Taylor." Tree tutted
