Like we were in Paris
Like we were somewhere else
Like we were in Paris, oh

PARIS! The Swift's and the Del Rey were in Paris!
"Amerie let's calm down a little bit" Taylor said softly.
Amerie was excited, she was jumping up and down, spinning in circles, giggling none stop.
"Okay I'm calming down, I'm just excited and energetic and everything is so overwhelming, but interesting" Amerie said taking a breather.
"I'm glad you're excited, I have a sound check today and a costume rehearsal, we also have an interview here tomorrow" Taylor sighed looking at her schedule on her phone.
"I'm sure everything will be fine" Lana reassured Taylor.
"I know I'm just overwhelmed, she seems happy it's just I don't know I have a feeling she's not, that she's just masking everything and I'm scared, sure she will be with my Mom and Dad in the VIP tent when I'm performing, but I just have a feeling what if she goes into an overload, or she gets anxious and I'm on stage so I can't help her" Taylor sighed speaking quietly to Lana.
"Don't worry about it, I'm sure your parents will be able to help if she does go into an overload, Amerie is 15 she's capable of knowing when she needs a break or if she needs help" Lana spoke honestly
"Yeah I know, it's just stressful going on tour while I have to make sure Amerie is okay, that she's not going to overload or shutdown, burnout you know, I worry a lot about her" Taylor sighed.
"Your her Mom of course you worry, it means you care, but Amerie she's okay see she's in her world of happiness right now, and she loves seeing you perform and me, so she's double excited" Lana said chuckling.
"Yeah she's my bundle of joy" Taylor said with a smile.

"Ri-Ri I have a sound check to do, why don't you take a seat on the stage" Taylor told her daughter.
"Yeah okay" Amerie said sitting down on the edge of the stage.
"Wait Ri I have an idea" Taylor said walking up to her daughter and taking her hand.
Amerie nods slightly confused.
"Remember when you were little and you always kept saying how you want to 'sing with mamma on stage'" Taylor says with a smile.
"Yeah..." Amerie mumbles.
"Well what if you did sound check with me, and maybe at the show tonight you could sing with me" Taylor's says with a smile.
Taylor grabbing Amerie's hand leading the excited teenager to the middle of the stage.
"With the new set list and everything some songs are removed which you already know, but I'm so excited for you to see it, I say we do sound check with Who's Afraid of Little Old me?" Taylor said passing a microphone to her daughter.
"Yes! But what about you saying I can sing with you, shouldn't we do whatever song we're doing instead" Amerie asked.
"You can join me in the surprise songs, I'm thinking crazier..." Taylor smiled.
"WHAT! Mom the fans are going to be screaming so much" Amerie said with shock.

Amerie was in the dressing room with her Mom. Taylor was in her new red bodysuit for lover all her costumes neatly alined.
Amerie was wearing a matching outfit to her Mom's acoustic set costume ready for the surprise songs. It was the yellow dress, but a shorter length to the dress, she had a matching silky, yellow bow in her hair and matching yellow ear defenders that were decorated with beautifully painted daisies, the headband to the ear defenders were a cream colour it perfectly matched.
"I have to be out there in 10, your grandma and grandpa is gonna take you to the tent, uncle Austin is waiting I'll see you later" Taylor said rushing out of the dressing room.
Amerie sighed, she was extremely nervous. She kept thinking of ever worse possible scenario ever. What if she messed up? What if everyone laughed? What if she fell on stage?
Amerie was soon bought out of her trance when she felt the soft, comforting touch of her grandma's hand on her shoulder.
"Amerie I'm sure you will do great and you have pleanty of time to go over things, let's get to the VIP tent" Andrea said holding Amerie's hand.
"Can't I just stay in here?" Amerie mumbled.
"Your Mom would probably be excited to see you in the tent she always is" Andrea said pulling Amerie into a hug.
"I'm just still anxious, sometimes I hate always feeling anxious about everything" Amerie sighs.
"I think that's something we have to talk to your Mom about, but for now let's have fun and not worry about going on stage and remember you can always pull out of it" Andrea smiled.
Amerie smiled back, but pulling out of a performance was something she wasn't going to do. Amerie's a people pleaser, a perfectionist she doesn't want to disappoint, her Mom seems so excited about this, but Amerie not so much, sure she was a happy, but she would much rather not see a massive large crowd that would rock her anxiety to the curb.

It was time.. well it was nearly time....
Amerie was pacing back and forth back stage the back stage crew were trying to fix the mic pack.
Taylor made her way backstage to notice the teenager.
"We're trying to get the mic pack on her, but she's not cooperating" A crew member spoke.
"Amerie lets calm down deep breathes, let the crew put the mic pack on you and then your going to hold my hand out to stage" Taylor said caressing her daughter's cheeks.
With the mic pack secured, the mother-daughter duo adventured out onto the stage together.
Amerie stayed behind for taylor to surprise the fans.
"Hello Paris and welcome to the acoustic set!" Taylor said spinning around.
"So I have a little surprise, well more like a massive surprise, if you would like to come out" Taylor said.
Amerie took a shaky breathe the doors opened and she stepped out onto the stage.
The crowd screaming loudly, but her ear defenders were left somewhere and neither did Amerie or Taylor notice.
The noises gushed, she felt a sick feeling in her stomach, she tried to soothe herself by playing with her hands, but all she could focus on was the loud roaring screams and cheers of the crowd.
The mask was put up, she took a deep breath and skipped across the stage running to her Mom, who embraced her into a hug and span her around in the twinkling lights of the stage.
"Welcome to the stage my daughter Amerie!!" Taylor said holding onto the guitar gently strumming the chords to crazier.
The crowds cheered loudly, Amerie shrugged it off and smiled perfectly.
"You lift my feet off the ground
You spin me around
You make me crazier, crazier
Feels like I'm falling and I
I'm lost in your eyes
You make me crazier, crazier, crazier"
The mother-daughter duo sang through the song beautifully, the crowd screaming the lyrics back and forth. It was truly magical.
