You watched as Jay ran back into the Bridge with Nya, Kai, Sensei Wu, and Garmadon close behind him.

"Pythor's at the Temple of Fire." You explained while looking up from your computer..

"That means the Fangblade is there." Kai said, looking at the screen.

"And Lloyd."Garmadon chimed in.

"That;s the same Fire Temple Kai and Lord Garmadon first faced off." Jay stated.

"If my memory serves me correctly,"Kai started, "I'd say one of us cheated back when we last fought."

"And I remember someone needed their sensei to save them." Garmadon snarled back.

"Guys! For the sake of the Fangblade and Lloyd, can we please just get along." Cole asked, trying to get them to stop.

Kai sighed in response, but did stop.

"Since the last time we've been there, it looks like the volcano has grown unstable." Nya explained, pointing to the live video from the Falcon.

"The place is a time bomb just waiting to be lit." You started, "then KABOOM! There'd be no stopping it." you made little hand jesters of an explosion.

"Oh, great. Just what I like." Jay said sarcastically. "Fighting armed and deadly snakes in a volcano that's about to go KABOOM!"

"We will do what we must." Sensei Wu said.

"Yes, Sensei." Zane said, "But where are our weapons?" He asked.

Everyone looked around the room at each other.

"And why is Lord Garmadon not here?" Kai asked, before running out of the room.

"Kai!" Sensei Wu yelled for Kai to stop, but he didn't.

You and the others quickly run after him, but by the time you got there, Kai had locked himself inside a room while fighting Garmadon.

"What are you doing?!" Nya asked, after trying to open the door.

"Discovering my true potential!" Kai yelled back from the other side of the door.

Jay walked up beside Nay and also tried to open the door, but to no avail.

"Uhh! The door won't budge!" Jay said.

"Kai thinks he'll unlock his powers if he stands up to Lord Garmadon." Nya explained.

"Why would he think that?" Zane asked, worry lasing his voice.

"'Cuz he thinks he's the Green Ninja." Nya rushed out.

"Well, if we don't open this door soon," Cole started. "I think he's gonna be mincemeat."

"I got this." you said, walking up to the door.

You used your elemental power to unlock the door, then quickly kick it down.

"How did you do?" Jay started, but you cut him off.

"Explain later." You said before running into the room to find Kai standing on top of Garmadon.

"I defeated him! I did it!" Kai cheered.

You looked down at Garmadon, who you could tell just let him win.

There was no defeat in his eyes, and he just looked a bit annoyed.

"Are my eyes glowing? DId I unlock my powers?" Kai asked, but there was nothing, and he didn't unlock his true potential. "Is this my true potential? Ahg! Why isn't it working?!"
