A week later, Sara and I were packing for our weekend trip to Seville. Barca was playing away this weekend and it had been too long since I last went to see them play, so Ferran had surprised me with tickets and Sara had managed to get ahead with her thesis to spend the week-end with me. Against my wishes, Ferran had also booked a very comfortable hotel room for the two of us, saying that I deserved it and should enjoy one week-end away.
So after my Friday shift, Sara picked me up and we walked to the train station to catch the late one to Seville. "Oh my gosh, I'm so excited!! We haven't been on a trip together in years!" my best friend squealed and I groaned as I had forgotten how much of a party girl she actually was. My liver would be dead after this weekend. "No... no! No drinking this weekend, please" I pleaded as we sat down on our booked seats and the train started rolling. "Hell, of course we will. We're two sexy, taken ladies, ready to show men what they are missing out on" she giggled and I furrowed my eyebrows.
"I'm not sure this is how partying works" I replied and took out my phone to text Ferran that we were on the train. "Who cares? We don't follow the rules of partying, we write them" she chuckled and I nudged her playfully, laughing too.

We arrived quite late in the night, but Sara still managed to convince me to go out clubbing with her. And she was right to do so, because I had so much fun letting loose with my best friend, in a city where we knew nobody and just didn't care about anyone judging us going all crazy.

Thankfully, we hadn't gone all out already on our first evening, as we still wanted to make the most out of our short trip, and we stood up between 9 and 10 the next morning. Up first on our to-do list was the Alcazar complex and to make things quicker, we just grabbed a croissant and cappuccino to go instead of spending hours at the hotel breakfast buffet - which did look amazing though.
