"You did well. Your dad would be so proud of you," I said softly, offering words of comfort and encouragement as I caressed his head.

As our eyes met, I became acutely aware of our closeness. Quickly averting my gaze, I refocused on the task at hand.

As we continued preparing the meal, I asked, "What do you like to do in your free time?" I was determined not to make any mistakes while cooking.

He paused for a moment before responding, "I like to be with you, whether I'm free or not." His words took me by surprise, making my heart skip a beat.

"O-okay," I stammered, my voice betraying my uncertainty. "But is there any particular activity you enjoy?"

A few seconds later, his voice broke through my thoughts. "It's ready," he announced.

With the final touches complete, we plated our dish and moved to the table, ready to enjoy the meal we had prepared together.

As we sat down, he served the biryani we had prepared, which turned out to be exceptionally delicious. Given that he had done most of the work, it was only right to give him the credit.

After we finished our lunch, we took a stroll through the garden. "Are you aware of the symbolism behind a white rose?" he asked as we entered the beautifully maintained floral garden.

"Purity," I replied, a warm smile spreading across my face as we walked.

After our stroll, we made our way to a hill, as he had suggested, promising a beautiful view. As we walked, he stopped and handed me a pair of shoes. "It's a hilly region, your legs will ache. Wear these. They'll be more comfortable," he said. He then bent to help me remove my sandals. I stopped him as he was about to touch my feet, hesitantly saying, "I will do it."

"It's already done. Let me," he insisted, continuing to put the shoes on for me. I couldn't help but admire him in that moment. How could he be so considerate and kind?

Carrying my sandals, he led the way, and as we arrived at our destination, I realized how foolish I would have been to miss this mesmerizing sight. The scene before me was magical, lush greenery, picturesque trees, and a sky filled with birds flitting about, all coming together to create a breathtaking view. And I was sharing it with the perfect person.

"This is so beautiful," I breathed, taking in the landscape. As I admired the view, my eyes fell on a small painting setup. Noticing my puzzled expression, he explained, "You wanted to try painting, right? So I thought this would be the perfect spot."

"Agreed! Thank you," I exclaimed with a warm smile spreading across my face. We set up our easels, enjoying the view and getting lost in painting the scenery before us. When we finished, we hid our paintings behind our backs.

"Let's show each other on the count of 3... 2... 1... Go!" I exclaimed, and we both revealed our paintings.

Seeing his painting, I realized that even he couldn't be perfect at everything. "Wow, this is so beautiful. It's like you've put your soul into this painting. Truly an artist," he gasped in surprise, clapping and applauding. His cheerfulness made me feel proud of myself for once in my life.

"Your painting is beautiful as well," I tried to be humble, but he saw through me and said, "You're a bad liar, don't try that again." We both chuckled at his comment.

"It's not that bad, you have a unique perspective. Like this tree flying in the air," I said, pointing out the floating tree in his painting.

"Now you're teasing me," he cried out like a child, and we shared a fun moment, laughing together.
