She was sprawled out over the man's god-like body, too many hours and orgasms beyond caring about anything other than Bucky. He traced her spine with his hand, leaving goosebumps on her skin.

She was at peace, finally feeling whole again. The tumultuous storm within her had subsided, replaced by a profound sense of calm and contentment. Her heart, once battered and bruised, now beat with a steady rhythm, each pulse resonating with love for her James.

"I will never leave you again, Indigo," Bucky whispered softly, his voice a gentle caress against her ear.

She looked up at him, her fingers instinctively tracing the rugged contours of his jawline. His eyes, deep and tender, met hers with an intensity that melted her defenses.

"Good, I won't let you," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. Indigo rested her head back against his solid chest, feeling the reassuring thud of his heartbeat beneath her cheek. Her fingers wandered lightly, tracing the lines of his abdomen, memorizing every curve and contour as if committing them to memory.

"I'm serious, I am never leaving your side again," Bucky said sternly, his hands gently cradling her face as he brought it closer to his.

"James?" Indigo whispered, her voice barely audible in the hushed intimacy of the moment. His eyes bore into hers, searching for answers to questions unspoken yet deeply felt.

"Marry me," Bucky uttered slowly, his voice tinged with vulnerability. "Marry me and be my wife. Forever."

Indigo's breath caught in her throat, her heart racing at the weight of his words. She was stunned, caught off guard by the suddenness and sincerity of his proposal. For a moment, she struggled to find her voice, to articulate the whirlwind of emotions sweeping through her.

Unable to form coherent words, Indigo leaned forward, closing the distance between them in a passionate kiss. Her arms wrapped around his neck, pulling him closer, sealing their connection in a fervent embrace. The kiss spoke volumes, expressing the depth of her love and the overwhelming joy that surged within her.

"Is that a yes?" Bucky asked, pulling away slightly to gaze at her with an expression of pure joy, his grin lighting up his face.

Indigo couldn't help but mirror his smile, her eyes sparkling with love and happiness. "Yes, James," she affirmed softly, her voice filled with warmth and devotion. "I love you more than you will ever know."

Bucky's grin widened, his eyes softening as he looked at her, overwhelmed by the depth of her love. He reached over to the nightstand beside the bed, opening the drawer with a purposeful yet gentle touch. From within, he retrieved his dog tags, holding them in his hand.

"I don't have a ring right now, so these will have to do," Bucky said tenderly, sitting up and moving closer to Indigo. He placed the dog tags into her hands, the metal cool against her skin, and then wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close to him.
