Are you sure you're okay staying here with Gracie and Morgan?" Indigo's voice carried a note of concern as she glanced at Tony, her brow furrowing slightly. They stood in the kitchen of Indigo's apartment, where she held Gracie securely in her arms, while Pepper was inside the living room telling Morgan goodbye.

Stark Industries had organized a lavish party at an upscale bar in New York City, prompting Pepper, Tony, and Morgan to fly into the city for the event. With both Pepper and Indigo attending the party, Tony had volunteered to stay behind and look after the two girls. Indigo couldn't shake off her nerves about leaving them in Tony's care.

"I've got it, it's just a two year old and a one year old, I think I can handle a couple of little girls," Tony said crossing his arms.

"Mommy, Uncle Tony gonna let us make him pretty?" Gracie's innocent voice piped up, looking up at Indigo with wide, eager eyes.

Indigo couldn't help but laugh, the image of last week's escapade where Nat and Gracie had turned Steve into a colorful masterpiece still vivid in her mind. "Yes, sweetheart," she chuckled, glancing at Tony with a mischievous glint in her eye. "You're going to make Uncle Tony pretty."

Tony's expression morphed from curiosity to sudden apprehension. "Hold on, I didn't sign up for this," he protested, a half-hearted grin betraying his attempt to feign reluctance.

"You ready to go, Indie?" Pepper asked, gently handing Morgan over to Tony.

Indigo set Gracie down on her feet and smiled warmly at her daughter. The little girl looked up at her with a beaming smile, her eyes sparkling with excitement. It warmed Indigo's heart to see Gracie so happy—that was all she had ever wanted, to see her daughter joyful and carefree.

"You look pretty, mommy," Gracie said sweetly, admiring Indigo's appearance. "Can I be pretty too?"

Indigo leaned down and kissed Gracie's cheek, her heart swelling with love. "You're already beautiful, baby," she replied softly, brushing a stray lock of dark hair behind Gracie's ear. The simplicity of Gracie's innocence and the unconditional love she radiated were moments Indigo cherished deeply.

"I know," Gracie giggled, her eyes bright with excitement. "I'll be a good girl for Unc Tony."

Indigo smiled warmly at her daughter, her heart swelling with affection. "I know you will be," she replied, leaning down to give Gracie a quick hug. "I love you, Gracie James."

"I love you, mommy!" Gracie exclaimed happily, her laughter filling the room.

Indigo straightened up and turned to Tony, her expression serious yet filled with trust. "Okay, Tony. If you need anything, just give us a call. We'll be back here in a heartbeat."
