Indigo chuckled lightly as Bucky adjusted the bulletproof vest over her stomach and chest. "James, I've never worn one of these before. I'm sure I'll be fine," she said, shifting the vest slightly.

Her breasts were tender, and her feet were starting to ache. She wasn't fond of the many symptoms of pregnancy.

"And this thing is pushing against my boobs. It hurts," she pouted, looking up at him with a playful yet discomforted expression.

He placed a soft kiss on her lips and gently held her chin with his metal fingers. "You're the one who insisted on coming. So, this is what you're wearing," Bucky remarked, his tone a mix of amusement and protective concern.

Indigo giggled softly, her heart swelling with affection for him. She knew without a doubt he would be a wonderful father, ready to protect and love their baby with everything he had. She felt grateful for choosing him as her partner.

"Fine, but I bet whoever it is isn't even that big of a threat. It's probably just some people trying to get to Wanda for her powers or something. And we all know Wanda can protect herself," Indigo said confidently, walking over to the hatch of the jet.

They arrived in London swiftly, wasting no time before heading straight to the train station. Indigo gripped her gun tightly as she cautiously pushed open the doors, the sounds of a struggle echoing through the station.

A firm hand on her waist pulled her back slightly, and Indigo sighed softly as Bucky took the lead. She watched as he moved forward with a measured pace, scanning their surroundings with sharp eyes.

As they rounded the corner, before Indigo could identify their attackers, Bucky swiftly pulled her back and pressed her against the wall.

"Indigo, for once in your life, listen to me and stay here," he commanded, his voice firm as he looked down at her with a serious expression.

Indigo's instinct was to resist, to rush forward and assist her cousin, but she saw the plea in Bucky's eyes. Reluctantly, she nodded slowly, acknowledging his concern and fear for her safety. She watched anxiously as Bucky disappeared around the corner once more, her heart pounding with a mixture of worry and frustration at being sidelined.

Resting her head against the wall, Indigo couldn't shake the feeling of helplessness. She despised not being in the midst of the fight, feeling utterly worthless standing there in hiding.

"We don't want to kill you. But we will."

The voice was unmistakable. Curiosity and concern mingled, Indigo cautiously peeked out from behind the wall. Her heart skipped a beat as she saw Nat, Steve, Sam, and Bucky, weapons drawn, confronting alien-like figures.

"You'll never get the chance again," the lady alien declared ominously.

Indigo watched with a mix of frustration and fear as the aliens were suddenly beamed away. Without a moment's hesitation, she sprinted from her hiding spot toward Wanda and Vision. Vision lay on the floor, clearly in pain, while Wanda knelt beside him, her forehead bearing a deep cut.
