"Yes, Tony, I will tell him," Indigo replied warmly, sliding a book onto the shelf in their newly furnished cottage. The scent of fresh wood and the comforting weight of the books in her hands made the space feel more like home with each passing moment. Bucky, in the adjacent kitchen, was methodically arranging their cookware, the clinks and clatters a rhythmic backdrop to their settling in.

"Ok, Willow. I will see you soon." Tony's voice reassured through the phone, his use of her affectionate nickname bringing a small smile to her lips.

"I love you, Tony. Talk to you soon," Indigo said with a smile, ending the call and putting her phone in her pocket. She was standing on a ladder, a slight stretch away from placing the last book on the shelf in their newly arranged library. The day had been filled with unpacking and organizing, each item finding its place in their cottage that was quickly becoming their home.

Lost in the task at hand, Indigo took a step without noticing where her foot landed. Suddenly, her balance shifted, and she felt herself falling. A yelp escaped her lips as she tumbled from the ladder, bracing herself for impact.

But before she hit the ground, strong arms caught her securely. Startled, Indigo looked up to see Bucky standing there with a smirk, effortlessly holding her in his arms. He gently set her back on her feet, his touch reassuring and steady.

"Careful there, doll," Bucky teased lightly, his voice laced with concern as he steadied her. His eyes searched hers for any sign of injury, his protective instincts kicking in.

Indigo let out a nervous laugh, feeling a rush of relief that she hadn't fallen hard. "Thanks, James," she said gratefully, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "Guess I got a little too focused on these books."

Bucky chuckled softly, his hand lingering on her arm for a moment longer before he released her. "You okay?" he asked, his gaze softening with affection.

"Yeah, just a little shaken," Indigo admitted, smiling up at him. "Thanks for being my hero, as always."

"For someone hailed as one of the best assassins in the world, you sure are clumsy," Bucky teased, a playful glint in his eyes as he gently ribbed Indigo about her near-fall.

Indigo chuckled softly, handing him the last book to complete their meticulously arranged library. She watched with a fond smile as Bucky ascended the ladder effortlessly and carefully placed the book in its designated slot. He descended just as gracefully, handing the ladder back to its spot against the wall.

Stepping back, Indigo admired the room with a sense of contentment washing over her. The library was more than just a collection of books; it represented a sanctuary, a haven they had created together—a home filled with love and cherished memories in the making.

Bucky looked at her with a slight grin, his eyes curious as he asked, "What did Tony need?"

Indigo let out a small sigh, rolling her eyes playfully as she replied, "Oh, you know Tony. He wanted me to tell you he's mad you didn't ask him before proposing to me."
