"Have I ever told you how good your suit looks on you?" Bucky murmured, his voice close behind her.
Indigo stood at the table on the jet, meticulously arranging her weapons into their holsters. She sensed Bucky's presence as he pressed against her back, and she couldn't help but laugh at his admiration for her suit.
It felt invigorating to don it again, having retrieved it from the back of her closet after so long. Shuri had made some adjustments, but it still felt distinctly hers. Indigo had missed the weight of the guns on her belt, the familiar comfort of the knives in her hands.
"Your gun is digging into my butt, James," Indigo quipped, securing the last knife in her thigh holster.
"That's not my gun, doll," Bucky whispered, his breath tickling her ear. A shiver ran down her spine as she turned slowly, allowing him to trap her between his body and the table. His hands pressed against the surface on either side of her, drawing her closer.
Indigo met his mischievous smile with an eye roll, unable to suppress a laugh. "You are such a man," she teased affectionately.
"I'm your man, and I'm the man that gets to take that suit off of you when we get home." He said pressing his front harder to her.
Indigo sucked in a breath and snaked a hand between them and brushed her hand against his clothed hard cock. She watched as he sucked in a breath and dropped his head back in a moment of bliss.
Seizing the opportunity, Indigo slipped under his arm and made her way to the pilot. "Inbound in two minutes, Mrs. Barnes," the pilot informed her, glancing up from the controls.
Indigo nodded briskly in acknowledgment and turned back to see Bucky still leaning against the table with his eyes closed. She chuckled softly and walked over to him.
He looked good in his black leather jacket, his left arm outstretched confidently, paired with black cargo pants that emphasized his strong, stoic presence.
"Are you sure you want to do this, James?" Indigo's concern seeped into her question, a familiar refrain over the past two days.
She couldn't shake her worry, despite Okoye's assurances and the mission's approval. They had confirmed Winter's was gone, but her anxiety for Bucky lingered.
"I can handle this on my own," she said softly, her voice carrying a mix of determination and unease.
She watched as his eyes snapped open wide, fixing on her with intensity. "If you go, I go. That's the deal," he said firmly. "I'm not letting you go in alone."
Indigo approached him, her heart swelling with affectionate gratitude. She planted a gentle kiss on his lips, reassured by his steadfast protectiveness that she cherished.
