One Month Later...
As the weeks unfolded, Indigo and Bucky cherished every moment they could steal together. While Bucky immersed himself in training alongside the Dora Milaje, Indigo focused on healing. Her stitches had been removed, the gunshot wound nearly healed, a small scar was below her lip, and her ribs had ceased their painful reminders.
Their days were filled with quiet moments watching movies, cocooned on the couch, or venturing out to explore the wonders of Wakanda. Wanda had invited them to London for Halloween.
Without hesitation, Indigo eagerly accepted the invitation. Convincing Bucky took a bit more effort, but eventually, he agreed. T'Challa supported the idea, believing it was important for them to reconnect with their family.
When they arrived in London, the day unfolded into a delightful exploration with Vision and Wanda. They strolled through the bustling streets, visiting Wanda and Vision's favorite eateries and charming spots where they enjoyed their date nights. Indigo found herself enchanted by the city's rich history and vibrant atmosphere, despite the cold, damp weather that London was known for.
Later that evening, after a day of sightseeing and catching up, Vision and Bucky were sent on a quick errand for snacks and wine. Meanwhile, Indigo and Wanda took charge of tidying up the cozy living room of Wanda's apartment.
"Oh, look what I got us to wear!" Wanda exclaimed, disappearing into her room momentarily. She returned with a bag and unveiled two cheap headbands—one adorned with a halo, the other with devilish horns. "I think we both know who's is who's," she chuckled, holding them up for Indigo to see.
Indigo rolled her eyes playfully and reached for the horns, a mischievous smile tugging at her lips. Wanda beamed at her choice, clearly amused by the matching accessories.
"I gotta go change into something that will kill Viz," Wanda quipped with a laugh, already heading towards her room.
Indigo glanced down at her own attire—oversized sweatshirt and comfy leggings. She shrugged nonchalantly at Wanda, who eyed her with playful scrutiny.
"You need to go change too!" Wanda's voice echoed from her bedroom, prompting Indigo to nod in agreement.
"Okay, okay," Indigo called back, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. She did enjoy teasing Bucky a little bit, especially on a fun night like Halloween. Heading into the guestroom, she retrieved her bag and quickly changed into a cute black tank top and matching shorts set. The outfit complemented her red devil horns perfectly.
Returning to the living room, Indigo found Wanda already dressed in black shorts and a white tank top, pouring wine into glasses. The cozy apartment glowed warmly in the dim light, the soft ambiance adding to the festive atmosphere of the evening.
